We're walking in the dark, holding hands, without a care. Sure, I have to marry Diego, his own brother. But that's a problem for future us. I'll enjoy my time with Maximo while I have him.

'So, where do you want to go?'
'I don't know, I've never been here. You take me wherever you want.' He said, and so I took him to my favorite park. It's dark out, but the city lights are on.

'The park?' Maximo says, looking around. 'Really?' If you don't want to stay here, I'll gladly take you to an abandoned place and leave you there. 'Oh, please, that's my favorite place.'

I got on the swing, and he was standing in front of me, looking at me. 'Want to join?' he shook his head. He came behind me and pushed the swing. I laugh.

'What do you want to go on next? The monkey bars? Or the slide?' He stops swinging me, and I turn around. 'No, I want to go back home. We've been out for an hour now.'

We hold hands again. This night is magical. I love him. We stop in front of my window. Maximo helps me get in, and then he goes back inside the house from the front door.

I lie down on my comfy bed and fall asleep. Darkness takes over me. I don't dream. I've never had a dream in my life it's just nightmares.

I was at the wedding. At the altar, my 'husband' looks at me. I see his eyes, it's Maximo. Well, not until he uncovers my veil and I see Diego. He kisses me roughly. And all I could see was Maximo's eyes.

Disappointed, he stands up from his seat and is about to walk away, but Diego shoots him in the heart. He fell dramatically, and that's when I woke up. Cold, drenched in sweat.

That was the first. And hopefully, the last nightmare I ever have of Diego. If  all dreams are going to be like this, I will not to go to sleep.

I go out of my room. Silence fills the house. Ugh, after last night. My parents might have gotten into a fight. Amazing for me. Yay!

As I go to the kitchen, I hear my father talking. Great. Things about my wedding that will probably fail because I'll make sure on my wedding day, I'll mess up everything.

I don't care. I don't want it my father does. And I'm done with fulfilling my father's wishes. He can force Siena to do it. But not me anymore.

Those days are over. I'm done with my father's bullshits, and my training is done. And I'll live my life the way I want it. Nobody will tell me what to do. I'll finally be happy.

Sorry for the short chapter. Got a big writer's block. And couldn't write this story. Had ideas for others though. 🤭
