D - The Desire of Ages by Ellen G. H. White
E - G Nothing Yet
H - Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones
I never found the movie particularly appealing, and never watched the whole of it, though I saw bits and pieces as children watched it, but when I saw the book at a library discard sale, I thought I'd like to read it. It's weird, and full of surprises. It was one of those books that once I really got started on, was hard to put down. Given the age range of the characters, I also think it's appropriate for any ages from teenagers to 90something year old adults. It was a little confusing, and I definitely had to use my imagination, and it was fun. I even laughed a little for some parts.
