As team natsu all catched up at their usual table, A certain thought kept an old man busy upstairs.

"So, what time are you guys leaving?" Lucy brought up while patting happy's head.

They all looked at each other before smiling back at her.

"Well, Flame brain here suggested we go later at night, but our train leaves at sunset so..." Gray replied while rolling his eyes.

"What'ya say ice breath?!" Natsu spat while head butting gray.

"Exactly what ya' heard ding dong!" Gray yelled as he gave the action back.

"Boys." Erza boombed and in a minute no less the two men were as happy as a princess.

'Sunset huh...' Lucy thought to herself.

As lucy kept pondering to herself she didn't notice natsu glancing at her while he was getting lectured.

"Oh yeah! Luce, master told us wendy and carla are coming with us for something called destruction prevention? whatever that means." Natsu spoke and lucy felt a bit relieved that she wouldn't have to leave wendy all alone.

"And....He also said you can also come with us! if you want." Natsu continued while laughing at the last part, feeling confident lucy will totally say yes.

But to his dismay....

Lucy felt something get caught in her throat and smiled sheepishly. "I-Im sorry guys, but I..." Lucy spoke before looking around the guild only for her eyes to fall on a drunk card mage.

They all stared at her awaiting an answer and lucy felt like she has to do the most horrible thing she has ever done.

Lie.

"I promised Cana I would help her get ready for her and Gildarts next family day!" Lucy excused while mentally sweat dropping.

Natsu frowned and gray chuckled while erza raised an eyebrow.

"Couldn't you help her when we get back? Gildarts will be back much later than us you know." Erza retaliated.

Lucy gulped and smiled again.

"Oh, but you know cana! Haha, one time you're deciding a party for your dad, the next your too drunk to care! Haha..." Lucy laughed akwardly while explaining and erza.....

Seemed to be convinced.

'Thank the gods for my brain.' Lucy thought as she calmed down.

"Well, it is your decision." Erza replied while backing down and lucy let out a sigh of relief.

"Are you sure you'll be alright, lucy-san?" Wendy asked.

"I can stay if yo-" Wendy suggested but was cut off by lucy waving her hands.

"Its alright wendy! Master suggested you go with them, they'll really need you in battle. I'll be alright, I have fairy tail right here!" Lucy reassured and the team smiled at her.

"If you say so." Gray replied while patting lucy's head.

"Love rival." someone said in a menacing whisper while a guild pillar broke.

'What a familiar air...' Lucy thought to herself as she felt shivers down her spine.

"Anyways, since it's still 12:58pm, Lets go walk through the park together!" Natsu suggested and everyone agreed.
