She rose up for her morning scout, strolling into a nearby lake and stands underneath a waterfall, letting the water run down her body. After that she ventured to Monster Island's high mountain and looked over the sight close by, however was a young boy holding a small doll, he bravely walked up to Ruby.

The boy was deaf and mute but smiled at Ruby holding his makeshift doll, he was part of the Iwi tribe that lived peacefully with Ruby. She then placed her hand, as the boy sat down, with her.
Ruby: So, how's your day going?
Ben: *signs to Ruby* "I was doing fine here Ruby. How's your day?"
Ruby: I was having a good time with my brother to come along.
Ben: *signs* "It was nice knowing."
Ben then presented a doll he took from his liking, much to Ruby's surprise.
