The group of teenagers were waiting inside of the police station as they each had to undergo an interview of the incident. Although, what they weren't expecting was the rough treatment that the officers were providing to their newest friend. At first, the officers were nice as they got everyone situated inside. But then, they started surrounding Yukiko and treating her like a villain due to the report that she had been sighted with the League multiple times. At one point, an officer had grabbed her and twisted her arm painfully behind her in order to restrain her, but Bakugo immediately came to her rescue and wrestled her out of the officer's grasp.
"I refuse to let anyone lay a single finger on her!" He shouted as he stood protectively in front of her.
"She is part of the League, and was reported to have been a part of the villain team that abducted you. Please stand aside." The officer argued as he tried to get around the teen.
"No! You have no right to treat her this way! After everything she's been through, you should begging on your knees for forgiveness because you didn't rescue her in time!" Bakugo screamed as he continued to get in the way of the officer.
"That's enough. We have confirmation that she is the missing child, Yukiko Sanada. The issue is, her family was murdered and so she is all alone. She hasn't committed any crimes that we can find, so we can release her into the system to find a home." The police supervisor stated as he entered the room.
"What?" The group of teens, excluding Yukiko, shouted as they looked at the taller man.
"She still has living family!" Bakugo growls as he glares at the grouping of officers.
"That so?" The man questioned as he looked at the girl.
"Uncle Hizashi. He's at U.A. High School." She spoke loud enough for the supervisor to hear.
"I see. I will call the school now and see if we can get him over here then." The man sighed before turning away.
"Uncle? Wouldn't you rather your father?" Bakugo questioned as he turned to face her.
"I'm not ready to see him. Besides, I don't think he'd come even if they did call. He'd probably ask them to put me in the system." She muttered.
"You don't know that!" He exclaimed as he placed his hands on her shoulders.
"Sanada, your uncle is on his way. Let's get you into the conference room, so that we can begin your interview then." The supervisor spoke as he motioned for her to follow him.
It was obvious that he was leading her to an interrogation room, but she didn't care as long as they weren't trying to put her in restraints. Bakugo and the others were now standing behind a one-way viewing glass, so that they could observe what was happening inside the room. None of them really wanted to leave her alone, but the officers wouldn't let them stay with her. A frown had spread on the students' faces as they watched her sit there silently as the officers left the room. Although, a look of sadness etched it's way onto their faces when they noticed the slight look of relief that was on Yukiko's face when she was finally alone. The group remained seated around the window as they watched her fiddle with her wrists while she waited.
A little over an hour would pass before Hizashi would arrive at the precinct. The moment he had entered the group of students would notice him and immediately became confused. Izuku and Iida jumped up quickly and ran towards the man in hopes of understanding why he was there.
"Present Mic! What are you doing here?" Izuku questioned as he and Iida stopped in front of him.
"I received a call that my niece was here. Can you point me to where she is?" Present Mic stated as he looked around the room awkwardly.
