The Beginning of The End: Part II

It wasn't long that Machia came barreling into an area that had already been plagued by devastation and came to thundering stop. Getting up to her feet slowly, she glanced over the edge of the Machia's back and saw a grouping of heroes fighting several Nomus some hundred meters away, while a smaller group stood before the towering beast. Trying to get a good look, her eyes widened in horror at the state that these heroes were in. She had immediately recognized Endeavor due to his flaming suit, but it took her a moment to realize who was standing and or laying around him. Todoroki was standing to the number one hero's right, while Midoriya lay just behind them. Iida was holding Bakugo to his chest some meters behind them and Hado was laying down behind him. Suddenly, Machia began to rumble as he held his hands out in front of him.

"Masters! I have arrived! Please give me your next order, anything that you want!" Machia thundered.

"Oi! Shigaraki! We've been through hell-! Wait, what happened to you!?" Spinner shouted in panic which brought the rest of the League's attention to the battered man in Machia's palm.

"He is that badly injured?" Yukiko muttered in slight relief.

Glancing to the side, she caught sight of Dabi making his way over to the other side of Machia's back. He was shaking a bottle of what looked to be some sort of hair solvent, and laughing as he peered down towards the heroes below.

"Oh wow! There you guys are! From up here you all look like a bunch of ants! Hey, even Shoto is here! This is great!" Dabi cackled.

"Dabi!" Endeavor's voice echoed from all around, causing Yukiko to cringe slightly.

"Aww, come on, don't be like that! Why must call me by my villain name, especially when I have a pretty respectable name. Which, by the way, is Touya! Sure, my face may have ended up all scarred, but I had really hoped that my own family at least would have recognized me." He grinned as he poured the solvent over his head and his hair turned to a snow white color.

Yukiko watched on in confusion as she played back their conversation weeks prior regarding his identity. She knew that he had been pronounced dead years ago, but she never imagined that he would have been related to Todoroki. Barely making out the faces of the family below, Yukiko knew that they were in complete despair from the news. Biting her lip, she turned to face Compress and Spinner. Spinner had leapt onto the hand of Machia and was holding onto Shigaraki's body tightly while he yelled for the man to wake up. Compress just stood by watching before turning his gaze towards the girl and giving a slight tilt to his head. Dabi had begun to monologue about his life and how he had his life story airing across the nation.

"I'm surprised you haven't taken this opportunity to escape." Compress' voice softly spoke from beside her.

"Come with me." She whispered, barely audible to the man beside her.

"What?" He gasped as he stood straight behind her.

"You think that I was trying to escape so that I could get away from you and be with my friends. While I do care for my friends and family at U.A., I do care about you, Toga, and Twice. I even care about Spinner, even though he didn't really want to talk to me much. I'm upset that Twice is dead, I'm absolutely devastated and I wish that I could have done something to have prevented it. So, now I want to prevent yours. So please, come with me." Yukiko spoke pointedly as she looked up at the mask that adorned the older man's face.

"Yukiko." Compress sighed as he glanced up towards Dabi behind her.

"Compress! Help me out here!" Spinner's voice echoed from behind him.

"I cannot go with you." The masked man sighed before going to kneel beside Shigaraki.

"Yukiko! Come and heal him!" Spinner shouted as he glared up at the girl.
