Three months had passed since Yukiko's abduction that had been orchestrated by the League and Hawks. Every Friday, whenever the League was in their meetings, Hawks would visit the girl and give her little updates on her classmates and family. It did make her feel a little bit better to hear that everyone was doing well, despite their worries for her. She also couldn't help but laugh at the exasperation that Hawks felt about the constant phone calls from EraserHead. It had become increasingly obvious to her, through Hawks, that the heroes would be making their move soon. So, she was trying to wait patiently for them to come sweeping in. Yet, at the same time, she had started to feel the same conflicted feelings she had when she was rescued the first time. She had become extremely close with Toga, Twice, and Compress over the last three months. Toga, never leaving the room unless it was to eat or go to the weekly meetings. Twice and Compress would also spend a large amount of time in her room. It had only been a week or so ago that Compress had smuggled in a radio so that they could all listen to music and enjoy themselves. Different songs from different genres played, and the group of four laughed and danced to the music for hours. Of course, that was until Dabi came and ruined it with his normal grouchy behavior. Luckily, Compress left the radio in her room so that she could still listen to music quietly if they weren't there. Flipping through the different stations, she found the news, but there was nothing going on hero-wise.

"Hey, Yukiko." Hawks had walked in shortly after Toga had left.

"Hmm." She hummed as she laid out on her bed with the radio playing.

"What are you listening to today?" He grinned as he sat on the edge of the bed.

"Ballads. It's so soothing." She mumbled as she sat up.

"Yeah, these do sound pretty nice." His grin softened as he watched her.

Humming again, Yukiko closed her eyes and swayed slightly to the music. She had been so engrossed in the slow tempo and the beautiful words, that she honestly wasn't paying much attention to the words that Hawks was speaking. Finally, after some time of watching the girl sway, Hawks stood to his feet and gently pulled her up with him.

"Hawks!" She squeaked as she stumbled into his chest.

"It's no fun to just sit and sway! Let's dance to it!" He chuckled he placed her hands on his shoulders.

"Are you sure? What if the others come, wouldn't you get in trouble for being here?" Yukiko frowned as she fiddled with the collar of his coat.

"I'll be out of here before they leave their meeting, no worries! Besides, this is nice." He sighed contently while resting his hands on the tops of her hips.

At first, she was stiffly swaying since she hadn't expected him to want to dance with her. But, she eventually loosened up and the two were dancing together as if they had always done this. Eventually, she had brought her hands down to his chest and rested her head just above where her hands were situated. To her it was comfortable, they had been swaying to a few songs at this point and she wasn't ready to stop. It was fun too, the way he'd hum to some parts as if he knew the song or the way he would randomly twirl her around. Even Hawks had changed the positioning of his hands to the small of her back as he held her more closely than before. It almost looked too intimate between the two. However, Hawks had to pull away and leave all too soon. Half an hour had passed and they knew that the League would be making their way over soon to decompress from the meeting. Whispering another goodbye, Hawks swiftly left the room and took off to whoever knows where. Yukiko remained standing for a moment, but she eventually sat down on her bed as she waited for the others to arrive and talk about how annoying their meetings were. It was always like that. Whenever they'd come back from a meeting, it was the same complaints and the same information. Nothing had really changed in the last few months, so she gathered that everything would change when Shigaraki returned from wherever he was in the mountains. It had only been a few minutes since Hawks' departure that the others filed into the room. Glancing at the group, Yukiko immediately noticed that Twice and Spinner wasn't there.
