Dohoon went over to the bookstore. He was craving something new to read, the books he had at home were either all read or uninteresting for his taste. Once he was done with the bookstore he decided that he would go to a coffee shop and get himself a drink, maybe sit down and read for a little bit. That was his plan for this Saturday afternoon. It was already quite a lot for him, especially as an introvert.

He arrived downtown after a short tram ride from his neighbourhood to one of the multiple stations in the centre of the city; but he did have a 15 minute walk to his station. But he liked walking, as it meant that he could listen to music.

He walked into the bookstore, a little bell went off as he stepped in. Dohoon greeted the cashier at her register's desk. He then went over to the shelves and carefully looked at the names on the spines of the books, searching for something that could catch his eye.

After around a quarter of an hour, he found two books that peaked his interest. He took the two off the shelf and started reading the back, hoping that it would be something he liked.

One of the two books seemed really interesting for him, so he decided to pick that one out. He read over the back again, making sure he truly liked the song and then went to the cashier. It was only then that he realised he forgot to put some money back in his wallet. It seemed like his quiet and bookish afternoon wouldn't be able to take place.

He slightly sulked when going back to the shelf, apologising numerous times to the librarian for waiting her time. He was just about to go out when a boy took him by the hand. At first, Dohoon, was obviously, spooked by the sudden reaction; he was immediately much calmer once he noticed who it was.

"Shinyu-hyung! You gave me a fright!" He said, lightly chuckling before looking around. He searched where he originally took the book from and put it back. Shinyu behind him took the book and went up to the cashier.

Dohoon went after him, trying to take the book out of his hands but he was already starting to play. The younger boy tried arguing with him, but Shinyu didn't care about what he said. He bought it for him, as a gift for no reason.

"Are you doing anything afterwards?" Shinyu asked, giving Dohoon the book. The latter couldn't stop thanking him, he paused for a couple of seconds, then realized that he still hadn't replied to the elder's question.

He wasn't sure if he should say what he was planning on doing; knowing what Shinyu already did for him right now, he would probably go out of his way to pay for his drink. He would probably even buy some food as well.

"Uh, I originally was planning on going to a coffee shop, but I'll just go home now since I forgot my wallet" He finally replied after a couple of seconds of pondering. Being truthful would be the best thing. Especially since they weren't that close yet, and he didn't want to break his trust.

"I'll buy you something!" Shinyu smiled brightly, already pulling Dohoon towards the coffee shop nearby. He made the younger boy sit down and gave him the menu so that he could look for something.

Dohoon was at a loss for words, even when he had all his so-called friends at his old school, they would never do something like that, yet Shinyu — someone who he wasn't even that close to yet, was doing all of this.

"Have you chosen something yet?" Shinyu asked, ever so slightly lowering the menu in Dohoon's eyes to see his eyes a bit more. He never noticed how pretty they were, a slight blush started covering his face, mostly his cheeks.

Dohoon looked up, telling him his order, and pointing out how the price wasn't too high, and he would be paying him back. While they were maintaining eye contact, Shinyu scolded himself in his head. He didn't want himself falling for a boy that was most definitely straight.

Shinyu ordered the drinks and decided that now would be the best time to get to know him better. He was thinking of something that could be a good conversation starter.

"Why'd you move here?" That was something that made him quite curious, a new boy coming in the middle of the year wasn't something that usually happened. Especially due to how attractive he was, he wondered what the reason was.

Dohoon didn't know how to answer that question, he didn't want to say the complete truth.

"I was bullied" Shinyu gasped, he made sure he heard him correctly. He couldn't believe Dohoon could possibly be bullied. Not only with how fun he was to be around, but also, he was extremely attractive.

"You?" He asked rather loudly. He quickly covered his mouth, apologising for asking so loudly.

Dohoon chuckled and nodded, Shinyu was too shocked to continue any conversation. He thought he had to move due to his parents getting new jobs for example. Not because of bullying.

"Oh! Our drinks are here!" Dohoon exclaimed when seeing the waitress arrive with their two drinks. He was rather relieved as he was starting to get uncomfortable with the conversation.
