"Jerks"

It's crazy how some people can be PURELY insane. Just like the guys I had to end up with, they look like they eat rocks just for fun. One of them was completely bald and had a shark tattoo on their chest, which you could see since he refused to wear a shirt. And the other guy had brown hair, a beard and a scar on his neck. Wow. Why did I have to be stuck with people like this. Couldn't I have gotten into a cell with someone i don't know... more decent?

Don't get me wrong they do kinda seem like the guys my buddy Jensen would hang out with but still.

Derek just stands where he was shoved into the cell and just stared as the 2 guys in the same cell as him were laughing about something. The only thing he heard was about a lady that got shoved into a lake. She didn't survive sadly. Derick did have his suspicions that they were the ones to did that to her but he was not about to confront that because that will lead to nothing good for him.

After about an hour the guys even bothered to notice that he was there. They just stared before laughing. HOW could they be laughing. There was nothing funny to be laughing about. They began to approach as Derek backed away a little. Big mistake since that will make them think that they are scared. Great job Derek.

"Whats a tiny little shrimp like you doing here" one of the teases before coming to close. Derek just stared at them and replies with "nothing". He wasn't about to tell a whole story about how someone arrested him for nothing important. It was honestly just an overreaction to arrest him in Derek's opinion. like it was Chris's fault for not simply handing the money to him.

The bald one raises an eyebrow before coming next to his friend. "What, did you get accused of something you didn't do or something" they said scoffing. "You could say that I guess.." Derek replies, acting as if he didn't do anything bad. The guys just lost interest in him since they really wanted him to reply with something more interesting like "oh yeah I burned a building" or "yeah I did a school shouting" like how insane did they think I was. They honestly looked like jerks. Like the type of people to battle for high ranks in the hell hole. 🕳️ (little extra hole)

But thankfully this was only the station and not the actual prison. IT WOULD BE WAY WORSE like way worse. For example. The walls would be grey instead of the smooth white marble. (The idiots in here with him had used rocks to scratch ugly patterns into it). And they would not get to see what the officers were doing in the stations with him since they would occasionally walk by to check on the inmates. But it also got annoying since the officer that put him in handcuffs would be apart of that routine. The routine to see if anyone is trying anything.

Derek would just glare at them when they walked by, but they didn't notice his glare at all. Just ignoring him like he didn't exist at all. But he couldn't care less, not like he wanted to see him anyway. The guy put him in this stupid position. Its was him who put him in this cell. This ice cold cell. He could have swore the temperature was BELOW minus/negative like -3 or something. Like he could sometimes just feel his mouth just start to freeze shut. Which is probably what the officers wanted instead of hearing him whine. Whining about getting let out and that he didn't do anything to deserve this. A month until the court would decide what to do with him.

A strange noise started in the middle of the night. Couldn't he just get to sleep normally like a normal person. It's bad enough that the cell was freezing. He could have swore someone had entered the cell. He pretends to be asleep even though he wasn't and tried to see who it was without being noticed to be awake...
