"Disoriented minds"

Derek had been staring at the cell door for about 15 minutes, still in shock. What the hell was that. He was probably going to stand there all day if one of his annoying cell mates didn't break something in their room. And guess what they broke now. You guessed it (probably not) the sink. You would think they would have some common sense but I guess every brute here is AGAINTS simple hygiene. But hey.

He was still a bit disoriented from that hit he took from Tom. And he wondered what he looked like with the bandages on since both of the guys were just crying laughing when they looked at him. They technically can't do nothing since the both look homeless and haven't touched water in months. Years maybe.

He walks over to the mirror and slightly brushed his hands along the bandages on the side of his face. Damn, now I see why they were laughing. I would also laugh if I saw someone with this on. Couldn't that cop have made it look slightly cooler. Maybe he hasn't practiced this kind of stuff well enough. I mean I'm not surprised  since half of the officers here look like mummies. They can't even provided a new toilet for them. Now all we have is the bucket.

And all the ice that was supposed to help numb his pain a bit was starting to melt. And now it was like 11:34 from what the very old clock on the wall said. And that means it's lunch time soon. But I can't say I'm exited for it. Nothing can compare to how horrible the cafeteria is when it's lunch time.

Derek walks over to his lower part of the bunk bed and lays down, closing his eyes as it was a moment of peace and silence. Well it was until the guys started talking. They were Deaf if they needed to yell so the other could hear. From what Derek could make out they were talking about how some guy was screaming earlier and sounded like he was going mad. Too bad I didn't hear it since I was in the med room or medical part of the station. At this point he didn't know what hell he was supposed to call it. And he couldn't process the answer since it sounded like a rocket was taking off beside him.

He sits there listening to the clock Tick and his cell mates having their supposed fun. And what they consider fun, I consider being an idiot and a child. Might as well start to consider them as children.
But he would never say that to their face since they did in fact not need more bandages over their head and more wett soggy ice. 11:55 what perfect timing. Time to see how this lunch will go like today. He stands up from the bed and waits for the officers to escort them to the small cafeteria they had in the station..
