The next morning, we were sitting in the cafeteria, eating breakfast. Everyone was slowly coming out. "Are you hungover?" Carl asked suddenly. I looked up to see Rick coming to the table. "Mom said you'd be."

"Well mom was right." Rick said as he sat down.

"Mom has that annoying habit." Lori said putting food in her mouth to eat.

"Eggs. Powdered, but I do them good." T-dog said walking to us with a pan of scrambled eggs. Glen groaned as Jacqui checked on him. "Bet you can't tell. Protein helps the hangover." Glen moaned more and I giggled a little at him. Rick picked up a bottle of aspirin.

"Where'd all this come from?" Rick asked.

"Jenner." Lori answered him.

"Could you help me, please?" He asked and handed Lori the bottle. She opened it for him and gave him some.

"Don't every, ever, ever, let me drink again." Glen grumbled as Jacqui rubbed his back.

"Hey." Shane said walking in.

"Hey," Rick responded "feel as bad as I do?"

"Worse." Shane said and I seen Lori tense up.

"What the hell happened to you?" T-dog asked. "Your neck." Shane touched his neck as he felt the scratch marks going down his neck.

"Must have done it in my sleep." Shane said.

"Never seen you do that before." Rick stated.

"Me neither. Not like me at all." Shane said and looked at Lori, who avoided all eye contact.

"Morning" Uncle Eddie said walking in. We all said morning to him.

"Doc, I don't mean to slam you with questions first thing.." Dale started.

"But you will anyways." he said getting coffee.

"We didn't come here for the eggs." Andrea said. Uncle Eddie faced us all.

"After breakfast, follow me." he said and we all quickly ate. We picked up our messes and followed him into the computer room. I walked with Daryl.

"How'd you sleep Kris?" Daryl asked. I shrugged.

"Alright." I told him.

"Well, I'm sorry I was so drunk last night, you can stay with me tonight if you'd like to." Daryl said. I smiled and nodded. We all stopped walking and watched Eddie.

"Give playback of TS-19" Eddie said into a computer.

"Playback of TS-19" a computerized voice said. The big screen started changing. Things were being added onto it.

"Few people got to see this, very few." Eddie said and everyone moved closer.

"Is that a brain?" Carl asked.

"An extraordinary one, not that that matters in the end," Eddie said "take us EIV."

"Enhanced internal view" the computer said and the picture on the screen changed.

"What are those lights?" Shane asked.

"It's a persons life. Experiences, memories. It's everything. Somewhere in that organic wiring, all those ripples of light, is you. The thing that makes you unique and human." Eddie explained.

"Do you make sense, ever?" Daryl asked him.

"Those are synapses, electric impulses in the brain, that carry all the messages. They decided what a person says, does or thinks from the moment of birth to the moment of death."
