transported to 90s !! i don't want to die

Naina  sighed in relief she saw the drama man pull out all his stars and put in his pocket. she quickly followed him. Both went and knocked on a door. There was no reaction from inside. Naina went to another house and knocked the door opened Arjun went to her. There was an old man standing there he looked at her up and down a voice of an old woman could be heard from inside . The old man was wearing an kurta pyjama looking at his face she knew she was still in India. She said with a sweet voice -"hum kya bas aaj rat ke liye aapke ghar me ruk sakte hai".
Arjun who was beside her also co-operate with her with a cold face he said -"raste me Humpe dakuo ka hamla ho gaya tha , aur hamare pas kuch nahi hai".

The old man looked at the girl who was wearing weird clothes holding some packets in her hand and the man beside her who was cold and aloof also wearing weird clothes.  According to what he knew it somewhat looked like an army dress. He let them inside hi house .
Naina thanked him sincerely " thankyou so much ".

Naina was now relieved since they had a place to stay. She quickly entered the house . An old woman came in front of her she smiled and said -"kya aap log kuch khayenge".
Naina shook her head and Arjun also said no politely. The old man asked -" aap dono par patni hai".
Naina was shocked can she sat he was her brother, no their face didn't match at all . Can she say they were strangers , no they would start doubting both of them .
Sonal took a deep breath and nodded.
Arjun didn't react at all. They had no other way out although she looked very young from him.

The old woman took them to a room , it was not big but there was fire and it was warm . She gave them some beddings and blankets . There was only one bedding. Sonal felt a bit awkward but she still lied down beside him as she didn't want to die from cold.
Naina  finally relaxed. a moment ago she was rolling on her comfortable bed and now she is here and doesn't know how to return. As both of them were lost in their own thoughts a panel suddenly appeared in front of them . It was hanging in mid air and some words were written on it selected,
You should be very grateful that out of many people who wished for a vacation I chose you. But it won't be free .

Naina -"yes I am very grateful that you put us in this trouble , but i don't have money to pay you".
Then the words on the panel changed
'i don't need money, i am a high tech technology from an advanced world.'
'you will be broadcasted live, every second in our world it's like a variety show. But to protect your privacy it will be only recorded during day'.
'you will be given destination every day if you can't reach it in time you will be punished'. 'it's a week vacation '.'you will get large amount of money '

Arjun-"what if we don't agree ".
Panel-"you won't be able to return".
Naina -"return, but aren't we in our own country we can take a train home".
This time the panel didn't reply and disappeared.
Naina got worried. Arjun who was lying beside her said "just sleep for now , let's wait for tommorow"
Naina closed her eyes " i don't need any money, just send me home".

The next day Naina was woken up by noises outside the room . Arjun also woke up. The old woman entered the room and said -"here , some change of clothes for you ".
Naina thanked. The old woman took her to the washroom. When sonal came out she was wearing an kashmiri style salwar and a pajama .  It was quite old fashioned but better than nothing. She was holding a bag in which her old clothes and the coins .

Arjun went to change his clothes. Naina couldn't see the house clearly last night. The house was not big , there was a small tv . She saw such tv in 90s movies . Moreover there were very few alliances around. There was only a small bulb on the wall.just then Arjun came out wearing very old fashioned shirt and pant and a sweater.She couldn't help but smile she went to him and said "we are looking like people during ninetees". Arjun was looking around the house when suddenly he noticed a calendar the year on it was 1947. He went near it.

Naina followed him and was shocked at the calendar year. Arjun turned to old man and asked "what's today's date".
The old man looked at him strangely but replied -"13 August".
Naina and Arjun both looked at each other and saw the shock in eachother's eyes.

Meanwhile on the other side of screen a barrage of comments were moving.
Sweet potato-"Why are these two so shocked".
Saviour -"upstairs can't you see they have time traveled".
Cherry on top-"what's going on here i only clicked on this broadcast after seeing both of their good looking faces."
Sweet potato -"it's getting interesting".
The number of viewers were increasing at a visible speed.

Naina who was wearing a kashmiri suit guessed where they were . Both of them knew that they had to get out of here before 15 August or their life or death will be unknown.
Naina was a bit scared . Both of them knew they had to leave here quickly. The owners were not with them . Arjun said -"we don't have the money to leave here".
Naina at this time remembered her coins she showed them to Arjun .
"Will this work ". She knew they were not of any use she only had twenty rupees in total and she won't even be able to eat well from this money. Arjun said -"you know nothing about the prices at this time , do you ".
Naina felt a bit embarrassed but she nodded .

Arjun said -"it's enough, we can survive for a few days".
When the old couple returned Naina was ready to leave . The old woman
Invited them to eat but they refused as they didn't want to freeload too much. Sonal went to the old woman and said -"if you have relatives in other states ,leave here it's not safe to stay here ." Naina couldn't say much more than that lest they start doubting her . But she was very grateful to them and gave them a warning.

Arjun asked the old man and knew that they were in a small village near Srinagar. They will definitely get a train from there . Arjun and naina bid goodbye to the old couple as they walked a few steps , the panel appeared again ' it's the first day , so you just have to reach Delhi today".
