That afternoon they went to the canteen . Naina carried her food plate.
Maahi was walking beside her. She found an empty seat . Naina was walking to her . Priya who came towards her direction and collided with her."oh , so sorry your food fell down". Naina looked at the fallen plate and then at Priya . She snatched the plate from Priya's hands. Priya said -"don't have money to buy anymore, you can take mine as a charity". Naina picked up the bowl of daal and Direct poured it onto Priya.

Priya raised her hands to slap her , naina caught her hands. "I don't like troublesome people". She said. She went to maahi and sat down beside her . Priya was very angry she was feeling sticky all over so she went away.

Five Years passed by like that naina used to go home on vacations. Her brother always sent various photos but never found the right one. Naina has now lost hope. She had her hope shattered many times now. Maahi till now had somewhat guessed things on her side.

Meanwhile Priya would show her presence by showing off branded things. Recently she had a boyfriend he was a captain in army. She would show off to naina and maahi.

Priya came knocking on her doors. " My boyfriend is here Today don't appear in front of us". She pointed at naina "don't you dare try to seduce my boyfriend, he is a high ranking officers not like you".
Naina said  rolling her eyes"I don't want your boyfriend, always keep him tightly bound to your side okay".
Today was their graduation naina had completed her mbbs maybe that's why her boyfriend was coming.

Maahi planned to wear saree today. She said " why you never wear saree and suits".
Naina didn't speak . Her brother was transferred dehradun last month. He was coming to her college today. This is the first time her family members would visit her. naina and maahi went out. There are different batallion and units in army. Her brother is a captain. She didn't like wearing saree because whenever she thought about it she would remember Arjun who carried her around when she was injured.

When Naina's name was called on stage she went up and received the certificate . When they came out everyone was taking photos with their family members. Naina planned to choose   surgeon as her next option.

Maahi nudged naina "look Priya is coming towards us withbher boyfriend. Before she gave you a long speech to stay away."
Naina -"she can't live without showing off."
She called her brother. He picked up " I am on the way".
Priya came to them and showed them
An attitude like she was a princess.
She gestured "this is my boyfriend Abhishek," . Naina and maahi said hello politely. "He is a captain in army".

Priya started her as usual show off. Maahi really wanted to stick her mouth with cello tape. But she kept smiling like naina. Naina heard her brother call her name . She turned around " bhaiya here".
Keshav came in their direction. Abhishek was surprised to see keshav
"Is he your older brother". Naina nodded.

Keshav came to naina . He saw Abhishek and shook hands with him. Priya looked at him in surprise. Naina said -"bhaiya , let's go take photos."
Maahi said in naina's ears your brother is really handsome.
Naina gave her a face. Keshav was relieved to see naina cheerful. He has been worried about her he didn't know why and who she was searching for but he would never refuse his sister.

He finally asked -"naina who is the guy you keep searching for ".
Naina said -"let it go bhaiya , I can't find him anyway. Naina again lost herself in old moments she was already twenty three . Then he must be around thirty one. She imagined how he would look at this age.

Maahi tapped on her shoulders . Keshav said " there have been many new transfers of high ranking officers. I heard one of them is really strict and merciless. I heard from some female officers they he had not married and even a fairy can't move his heart" .

Naina looked at him "since when have you started gossiping so much".
Keshav gave a goofy laugh and said " it's fun".
"Oh by the way , today there is a big function arranged for whole army, would you both come". These type of functions happened every year to award soldiers medals for bravery . Naina had attended these functions before with her father. It didn't include one unit but included every batallion of the city. The awards are given by very high ranking officers.

Maahi got excited and nodded her head like chicken pecking at rice.
"Ok , I will come pick you two at 6."
Naina nodded. In the evening naina finally wore a saree on much stubborness of maahi .

When keshav came he  was wearing formal army dress , he looked at naina and said -" you look like a girl". Naina rolled her eyes. Keshav said to maahi "you look pretty ". Maahi became shy and thanked him.
Meanwhile Priya also came downstairs maybe she was also going.
They reached the place after fifteen minutes. There was tent spread on a big area. The logos of different batallions were shining on the tent. Naina entered there were many people around. A slow chorus was being played on stage. Many army  men were roaming around with their family members.

Maahi was excited and looking all around. Keshav said " the ceremony would start around seven with the arrival of officers and other people."
Naina went into the tent of her brother's batallion. She said hello to some ladies sitting there and talked with them for a few lines. She turned to maahi " if you want to eat anything you can ".

Maahi shook her head and sat down beside her. She looked around and saw Priya she tilted to naina "witch is here". Naina said -"ignore her".
She really didn't know what enemity priyavhad with her.
