Naina woke up in the morning she lay comfortably in bed which made her think that she was at home . She habitually called out " mummy, mummy". Hearing her voice her parnana came in her room. Naina opened her eyes in a daze she saw a young image of her Nana standing there. She dazedly called out "Nana ji".

She sat up and rubbed her eyes . Sanjay singh sat down beside her patting her head -"beta , Mai hu".
Naina nodded "aap logo ne itni aasani se mujhe par bharosa kaise kar liya".
Sanjay Singh smiled -"teri aankhon me jo sacchai dikh rahi thi na use dekh kar bharosa ho gaya".
"Agar tu hamari koi nahi hoti na phir bhi hum tujhe Ghar par rakh lete , tu hai hi itni pyari bacchi".
Hearing compliments naina instantly became happy. she smiled brightly and stood up.today was Sunday and everyone was home.

After breakfast, Naina said " may I take Arjun to see our fields."
Sanjay Singh nodded. Naina looked at Arjun and raise her eyebrows. Arjun nodded indicating he would go . Vasundhara looked at her in surprise "do you know the way". Naina nodded
" I often used to go there with Nana ji , but I don't know if things are still the same". Arjun who had not saved for two days had some stubbles on his face . Sanjay singh asked if he wanted to shave. He gave him his own blades . He was the only one who shaved regularly due to his job .

Naina and Arjun went towards the field. Naina was almost flying like a butterfly. Arjun who had mostly lived in such green places couldn't understand her joy. Naina  was looking all around, the houses at this time were rather big but were painted with primary colors. There were even houses made of soil and mud. " Arjun if it rains won't these houses be destroyed." Arjun nodded " but they repair it quickly and the walls are not thin".

"Arjun , Don't you miss your family ".
Arjun looked up at the sky " I missed my sister's wedding ". "Then your family members must be worried to death ".
Arjun looked at her with a complex emotion " i don't have a family to worry about ".
Naina looked confused, didn't he just say he has a sister. But the look he just had on his face stopped her from asking any further .

Naina and Arjun reached the fields. There was greenery all around. A bridge like structure was made in the middle. It was a thick layer of soil .
Naina walked in middle of fields touching plants here and there. She couldn't recognise which was their field at all. She looked embarrassed. Arjun knew her thoughts just by looking at her face. He sat down where he was standing . Naina came to him " Arjun let's just look around, please".
He didn't budge at all. Naina ignored him and kept walking walking forward. After walking for sometime she looked behind her Arjun was following her.

They reached a garden like place there were dry leaves all around. Naina was attracted by the black jamuns which were in the jamun tree. She looked around there was no one. She called Arjun " hey let's pluck some  jamuns". Arjun refused "if we get caught"? Naina shook her head " there is no one around ".

The jamuns in the lower branches were mostly raw . Naina jumped  to reach the upper branches. She couldn't reach at all. Beside her was Arjun who could pluck easily from the higher branches. She felt jealous of his height. She stood beside him and tried to compare her height from him .
Arjun looked at her actions " what are you doing shorty". Naina got angry " I am trying to pluck jamuns , you lambu ". He offered her some jamuns, just as Naina was about to take them she heard a noise. She looked towards that direction but before she can see it clearly, she was grabbed by Arjun who was running at his full speed. " If we don't run , they will definitely not harm you because you are a girl but I will be beaten ".

Naina fully cooperated with him holding jamuns in one of her hands. After running for a while they didn't see anyone behind them. They slowed down but naina holding jamuns in her hands felt unbalanced. She slipped and dragged Arjun down with her on the wet fields. She protected her jamuns like treasure. She had soil on her whole body even on face , meanwhile Arjun was not in much different condition. Naina and Arjun both were lying on the land like corpse. Naina didn't care at all , it was all like a game for her , she ate a jamun .

Arjun -"i told you we will be caught, but you didn't listen at all". Naina took a jamun from her hands which were clean and fed it into Arjun's mouth and silencing him. "It's sweet na".
Arjun nodded . Naina looked at the clear sky " Arjun we have so less money left, and we don't know how much longer we have to stay here".

Arjun kept silent he didn't know either. The panel hadn't appeared again after the last time . It's been three days now.

When they were returning everyone was looking at them . Vasundhara looked surprised at their condition " how did you get so dirty ".
Naina shook her head -"we were just stealing some jamuns".

Vasundhara slapped her forehead. And shook her head. " We also has jamuns at home ". After washing all the dirty clothes and taking a bath Naina felt fresh. She called the panel but no reply came.she felt a bit anxious about the situation tomorrow is the last day of break. Naina went and sat in the verandah. Arjun came to her "don't worry we will find a way".

Naina nodded. The next day the panel finally appeared. ' your task starts from tomorrow onwards '
Task -'travel from your current location to Maharashtra'.
Time limit -'2 days'.

At this time the riots has calmed down , so naina wasn't worried much.
Arjun didn't react much after looking at the task. Naina told vasundhara everything. There were some tears in vasundhara's eyes. She said " can't you stay here just for a few days more".
Naina shook her head. Vasundhara went out of the room . Naina couldn't stop her
