Two words, chocolate cake. A fluffy pie with creamy chocolate frosting. It has always been Vaella's favourite. Despite it's delicious taste, Vaella always requires a little strawberry on top of it. Merely at the sight of the cake the princesse's mouth waters. Each first bite feels and tastes like heaven itself.

The girl's taste buds flourish at the familiar flavour. It's been too long since the last reunion with her love. If only her mother hadn't found out about her daughter's frequently consumption of the cake. As soon as the queen got whiff of it she acted immediate and allowed her daughter only one slice per week. Alicent was concernd for the dark-haired's health but mostly for her figure.

Usually Vaella saves her slice till the end of the week as a safeguard in case something happens. But not this time. This time, she needs it right now. The previous incident has confused her deeply and she feels a great deal of embarrassmant. How foolish of her to believe them. How foolish of her to believe in their goodness and graciousness.

"Why weren't you watching our training today?", Jacaerys rushes into her room without even bothering to knock. Vaella opens her eyes at the sudden disruption of her thoughts. She could slap her face at the way a smile creeps onto her face by only hearing Jace's voice. "My mother rescheduled my embroidery lesson.", Vaella lies after a moment of considering and takes another bite of her cake.

"You're lying. Why are you lying?", Jace looks at his friend with hurt shimmering in his eyes. "I'm not.", the girl insists with lowerd gaze, not daring to face him. "Yes, you are. What have I done?", Jace asks confused. "Nothing. I just didn't felt like watching today.", Vaella mumbles scarcley audible. "Tell me, Vaella.", Jacaerys sits down next to her and grabs her hand.

"How can I make things right without even knowing what I did?", Jace tries again since Vaella still hasn't looked at him. The princess decides to face the boy at his pleading. "The pig. You know exactly Aemond is having a hard time being the only one without a dragon.", Jace's gaze flashes in comprehension.

"I didn't knew it was bothering you that much. Of course, I will apology.", the dark-haired boy assures her understandably. Vaella nods pleased. At the moment that is all she can do. "Now come! I will no longer spend my time in this damned room.", the princess pulls her friend out of the room. Laughing sounding in the halls they pass, leaving the servants with shaking heads.

"Where are we going?", Jacaerys asks breathing heavily. The running seems to show it's influence on him. "You'll see!", Vaella giggels happily while she lets go of his hand to run even faster. Jace sighs in effort and does has struggles to keep up with the fast girl. Vaella reaches her destination first and looks back at her companion before entering the dragonpit.
