Planning a wedding was always going to be a monumental task, but for Nora and Zac, it came with an additional layer of complexity. The media scrutiny, their busy schedules, and the sheer volume of decisions to be made often felt overwhelming. However, with the support of their families and friends, they were determined to make their big day perfect.
Nora and Zac sat down one evening, armed with a binder full of wedding ideas. They had been engaged for a few weeks now, and while they had enjoyed the initial excitement and celebrations, it was time to get serious about planning.
"Okay, so where do we start?" Zac asked, flipping through pages of floral arrangements and venue options.
"The venue," Nora said decisively. "We need to pick a place and set a date. Everything else will fall into place after that."
Zac nodded in agreement. "Do you have any preferences?"
Nora thought for a moment. "I've always dreamed of an outdoor wedding. Somewhere beautiful and private, away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi."
"I like the sound of that," Zac replied. "Maybe a vineyard or a garden?"
They spent the next few days visiting various venues, each more stunning than the last. Eventually, they fell in love with a picturesque vineyard in Napa Valley. It was perfect: lush green fields, beautiful flowers, and a breathtaking view of the rolling hills.
With the venue secured, they set the date for late summer, giving them just enough time to plan everything to perfection. Next on the list were the guest list and invitations. They decided to keep the wedding relatively small, inviting only close family and friends to ensure an intimate and personal celebration.
One afternoon, Nora sat down with Samy Jo to discuss the wedding details. As her man of honor, he was deeply involved in every aspect of the planning.
"Okay, so we have the venue and the date," Samy Jo said, ticking items off his list. "What about the dress? Have you started looking?"
Nora shook her head. "Not yet, but I have a few ideas. I want something elegant but not too flashy. Simple, yet beautiful."
"I'm sure whatever you choose will be perfect," Samy Jo said with a reassuring smile. "And remember, I'm here to help with anything you need."
Zac's family was equally involved in the preparations. Starla and David offered their home for pre-wedding gatherings and were enthusiastic about helping with the planning. Zac's siblings, Dylan, Olivia, and Henry, were excited to be part of the wedding party.
Meanwhile, Nora's family in France was thrilled about the upcoming wedding. Her mother, despite her health issues, was determined to be there for her daughter. Nora's sisters, each with their own unique talents, contributed in various ways: one helped design the wedding invitations, another took charge of the floral arrangements, and the youngest coordinated the music.
As the weeks went by, Nora and Zac found themselves caught up in the whirlwind of wedding planning. There were disagreements over seating arrangements, debates about the menu, and endless discussions about the perfect wedding cake. Through it all, they tried to remain focused on what truly mattered: their love for each other and the life they were building together.
One evening, after a particularly stressful day of planning, Zac found Nora sitting on their balcony, staring out at the city lights. He joined her, wrapping his arms around her shoulders.
"What's on your mind?" he asked softly.
Nora sighed. "I just want everything to be perfect, but it feels like there's so much to do and not enough time. And the media... they won't leave us alone."
