Nora stood at the edge of the set, watching the crew dismantle the scenery from their latest shoot. The Moroccan sun was beginning to dip below the horizon, casting long shadows across the desert landscape. Her mind, however, was far from the beauty around her. She had just received a call from Zac, and the news was troubling.

Zac's voice had been tight with worry. "Nora, my dad's had a heart attack. He's stable now, but it was a close call. I'm heading to the hospital right now."

Nora's heart clenched. "Oh my God, Zac. I'm so sorry. Do you need me to come home?"

"I don't want to take you away from your work," Zac replied, his tone conflicted. "But... I could really use you here."

Nora didn't hesitate. "I'm coming. I'll get a flight out as soon as I can."

After a quick conversation with the director and producers, who were understanding and supportive, Nora was on her way back to Los Angeles. The flight felt agonizingly long, and she spent the entire time texting Zac, checking in for updates.

When she finally landed, she was exhausted but driven by concern. She rushed to the hospital, where she found Zac in the waiting room, looking haggard and strained. He stood up when he saw her, and she ran into his arms.

"Thank you for coming," Zac whispered into her hair, his voice shaky with relief.

"Of course," Nora replied, holding him tightly. "How is he?"

"He's stable, but the doctors are still monitoring him closely. It was a severe heart attack."

Nora spent the next few days by Zac's side, offering support and comfort. She met his father, David, and his stepmother, who were both grateful for her presence. During this time, Nora's bond with Zac's family deepened. She helped with meals, ran errands, and provided a listening ear whenever needed.

One evening, as they sat in the hospital cafeteria, Zac turned to her, his eyes filled with gratitude. "I don't know what I'd do without you, Nora. You've been amazing through all of this."

Nora squeezed his hand. "We're in this together, Zac. Your family is my family now."

The words seemed to resonate deeply with Zac. He leaned in and kissed her gently. "I love you, Nora."

"I love you too," she replied, her heart swelling with emotion.

As the days went by, David's condition improved, and he was eventually discharged from the hospital. The crisis had brought Zac and Nora even closer, solidifying their relationship and their commitment to one another.

Just as things were beginning to stabilize with Zac's family, Nora received a troubling call from her sister. Her mother, a well-known singer, had been diagnosed with a serious illness and needed immediate care. The news hit Nora like a punch to the gut.

"Nora," Zac said gently, taking her hands in his. "We'll get through this together. I'll be with you every step of the way."

Nora nodded, tears brimming in her eyes. "I just feel so overwhelmed. Between work, your dad, and now my mom... it's a lot to handle."

"We'll take it one day at a time," Zac assured her. "You don't have to do this alone."

Nora and Zac flew to her family home, a beautiful estate nestled in the French countryside. Her mother, a strong and resilient woman, greeted them with a brave smile despite her frail appearance.

"Maman," Nora whispered, hugging her tightly. "I'm here for you."

"I know, ma chérie," her mother replied, her voice soft but steady. "Having you here means the world to me."
