After the tense encounter with the rival captain, Hyunjin kept a protective arm around Felix as they made their way through the dimly lit paths of the campus. The air crackled with unspoken tension, but Hyunjin's presence offered Felix a sense of security he desperately needed in that moment.

"You shouldn't have to deal with creeps like him," Hyunjin muttered, his voice low and edged with barely restrained anger. "I'm sorry you had to go through that."

Felix glanced up at Hyunjin gratefully, his earlier fear slowly dissipating in the comforting warmth of Hyunjin's proximity. "Thank you, Hyunjin," he replied softly, his voice filled with genuine appreciation. "I don't know what I would've done if you hadn't shown up."

Hyunjin squeezed Felix's shoulder reassuringly. "I'll always be there for you, Sweetheart ," he promised earnestly, his gaze unwavering as they approached Felix's apartment building.

As they reached the entrance, Hyunjin hesitated for a moment before speaking again. "Do you want me to walk you up?" he offered tentatively, his concern palpable in the way he searched Felix's eyes for any sign of discomfort.

Felix considered Hyunjin's offer, feeling a mix of reluctance and relief. "I think I'll be okay," he replied finally, managing a small smile. "But thank you, Hyunjin. You've done more than enough for me today."

Hyunjin nodded understandingly, though he couldn't help the lingering worry that gnawed at his gut. "Alright," he agreed reluctantly. "But promise me you'll lock your door and stay safe."

Felix nodded, touched by Hyunjin's protectiveness. "I promise," he assured him, his smile widening slightly. "Goodnight, Hyunjin."

"Goodnight, Felix," Hyunjin replied softly, watching until Felix disappeared into the building before turning on his heel to join his friends, Changbin, Chan, and Minho, who had been waiting nearby.

Changbin raised an eyebrow as Hyunjin approached, his expression curious. "Everything okay?" he asked quietly, glancing back at Felix's apartment building.

Hyunjin nodded, his jaw set with determination. "For now," he replied cryptically, his mind already calculating the next steps. "But there's unfinished business I need to take care of."

Chan frowned, sensing the seriousness in Hyunjin's tone. "What do you mean?" he pressed, exchanging a concerned glance with Minho.

Hyunjin's gaze hardened, steeling himself for what lay ahead. "That rival captain needs to learn a lesson," he stated firmly, his voice brooking no argument. "He crossed a line tonight, and he needs to understand the consequences."

Minho nodded in agreement, his expression grim. "We've got your back, Hyunjin," he affirmed, his voice steady with unwavering loyalty. "Just tell us what you need us to do."

With a shared nod of determination, Hyunjin and his friends set off into the night, their footsteps echoing on the deserted paths of the campus. They were a formidable force-a brotherhood forged through loyalty, friendship, and a fierce determination to protect those they cared about.

As they disappeared into the shadows, Hyunjin's thoughts remained focused on Felix-the sassy cheerleader who had unwittingly stolen his heart and whose safety he would safeguard at all costs.
