The practice match continued with intensity, each team vying for dominance on the field as the sun dipped lower in the sky, casting long shadows over the stadium. Hyunjin's focus remained unwavering, his mind sharp as he led his team through intricate plays and strategic maneuvers. Despite the competitive atmosphere, his thoughts kept drifting back to Felix-the way he had confidently rebuffed the rival captain's advances, and the unspoken tension that lingered between them.

On the cheerleading mats, Felix rallied the squad with renewed vigor, channeling his frustration into flawless routines that ignited the crowd's enthusiasm. His movements were precise, every jump and cheer executed with the same determination that defined his spirited personality. Yet, beneath his confident facade, Felix couldn't shake the lingering unease sparked by the rival captain's unwanted advances.

As the match drew to a close, tensions ran high on both sides. The scoreboard displayed a close margin, with Hyunjin's team edging ahead by a narrow lead. The final minutes of play were a flurry of action-defensive tackles, daring passes, and a last-minute touchdown that sealed the victory for Hyunjin's team.

The crowd erupted into cheers as the final whistle blew, celebrating the hard-fought win. Hyunjin's teammates hoisted him onto their shoulders, their jubilant shouts echoing through the stadium. Despite the physical exertion and adrenaline rush, Hyunjin's thoughts were still on Felix, who stood on the sidelines with the cheerleading squad, clapping and cheering with genuine pride.

After the match, as the team gathered on the field for a post-game debriefing, Hyunjin spotted Felix making his way towards him through the crowd of celebrating fans and teammates. There was a subtle shift in the air-a palpable tension that crackled between them, born from unspoken words and shared moments of protectiveness.

"Sweetheart," Hyunjin greeted him warmly, his voice tinged with relief and lingering adrenaline. "You were amazing out there. Your cheers really lifted our spirits."

Felix smiled, a touch of sass in his gaze as he met Hyunjin's eyes. "Well, someone had to make sure you didn't lose focus darling," he quipped playfully, nudging Hyunjin with his elbow.

Hyunjin chuckled, the sound rich and genuine. "I appreciate it," he admitted, his tone sincere. "And... thank you for handling that situation earlier with... grace."

Felix's expression softened, his gaze holding Hyunjin's with an unspoken understanding. "I don't let just anyone flirt with me, you know," he replied softly, a hint of vulnerability creeping into his voice. "I... I care about you, Hyunjin."

Hyunjin's heart skipped a beat at Felix's words, his own feelings laid bare in that fleeting moment of honesty. Before he could respond, their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of their friends-Changbin, Minho, Jisung, and the rest of there squad-eager to celebrate the victory and shower Hyunjin with praise.

As they walked off the field together, amidst the fading cheers and the setting sun casting a golden glow over the campus, Hyunjin couldn't shake the feeling that their bond had deepened in ways he had never expected-a bond forged through competition, shared triumphs, and the unspoken promise of something more.
