After helping Felix into his apartment and making sure he was safely tucked into bed, Hyunjin quietly slipped out of the room, leaving the door slightly ajar in case Felix needed anything during the night. He lingered in the living area for a moment, his thoughts swirling with the events of the evening.

Outside, the city hummed with a muted energy, the streets below illuminated by a scatter of streetlights. Hyunjin leaned against the window, the cool glass a welcome contrast to the warmth that lingered in his chest-a mix of concern for Felix and a growing awareness of the bond forming between them.

Inside Felix's room, sleep eluded him as he lay awake, the events of the night replaying in his mind like a vivid tapestry. He couldn't shake the image of Hyunjin's steady gaze, the reassuring touch of his hand, and the quiet strength that seemed to envelop him like a shield.

A flicker of vulnerability stirred within Felix-a yearning he hadn't fully acknowledged until now. With a determined exhale, he pushed aside his hesitation and quietly padded out of his room, his steps echoing softly in the dimly lit hallway.

Hyunjin turned at the sound of footsteps, surprise flickering briefly in his eyes as he met Felix's gaze. "Can't sleep?" he asked softly, a hint of concern threading through his words.

Felix shook his head, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Not really," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "Mind if I... stay with you tonight?"

Hyunjin hesitated for a moment, his mind racing with conflicting thoughts and emotions. He knew the risks of allowing Felix into his space-of blurring the lines between friendship and something deeper. But as he met Felix's earnest gaze, he found himself nodding silently, his heart softened by the vulnerability in Felix's eyes.

"Of course," Hyunjin replied softly, stepping aside to allow Felix into his room. The air between them shifted, thick with unspoken words and the weight of their shared moments.

Felix settled onto the bed beside Hyunjin, the warmth of his presence a comforting anchor in the quiet room. He glanced over at Hyunjin, his heart fluttering nervously as he realized the intimacy of their closeness.

As the night deepened into a hushed stillness, Felix found himself drifting towards sleep, the rhythmic rise and fall of Hyunjin's breathing lulling him into a sense of peace. Somewhere between wakefulness and dreams, he felt Hyunjin's hand brush against his own-a fleeting touch that spoke volumes in its silent reassurance.
