On the other hand,

Krunal woke up first, blinking sleepily in the dim light of the motel room. His eyes softened at the sight before him. Hardik was facing him, curled up peacefully, while Rahul held him from behind, his arm draped protectively over Hardik as if shielding him from the world's dangers. The sight filled Krunal with a sense of happiness.

As the others woke up and freshened up, the atmosphere shifted from quiet intimacy to a tense readiness for the day ahead. They all knew they had a mission: to visit the Dewri temple and seek answers.

The ride to the temple was filled with nervous chatter and silent prayers. Upon arrival, the ancient structure loomed over them, its presence both awe-inspiring and slightly foreboding. Inside, the temple was serene and filled with the smell of incense. The statues of Kali Durga watched over them with fierce protectiveness.

To their surprise, they saw Jadeja sitting alone in a corner, looking completely at peace. His calm demeanor stood in stark contrast to their anxious energy.

Hardik, despite Ishan's protests, approached Jadeja. "I'm going to talk to him," he said, determination in his voice.

Ishan grabbed his arm. "Hardik, be careful. We don't know if we can trust him."

Hardik gently pulled his arm away. "We need answers, Ishan."

As Hardik walked over, Jadeja looked up and gave him a small nod. "Sit," Jadeja said simply.

Hardik sat down beside him, trying to steady his nerves. "What's happening to us?" he asked quietly. "There's this entity, a petni, that wants to marry me. At least, that's what we think."

Jadeja chuckled softly, a sound that was strangely comforting yet unsettling. "What's happening is not what it seems," he said, his voice calm and measured.

"What do you mean?" Hardik pressed, his heart pounding.

Jadeja looked at him with an almost paternal patience. "The petni isn't after you, Hardik."

Hardik's eyes widened in confusion. "Then who...?"

Before Jadeja could answer, the atmosphere in the temple shifted. The once calm skies outside turned dark, and thunder rumbled ominously. The sudden change in weather sent a shiver down Hardik's spine.

Ishan, Krunal, Rahul, and Shubman rushed over, alarmed by the sudden turn of events. "What's going on?" Shubman asked, his voice trembling.

Jadeja remained eerily calm. "The petni isn't after Hardik," he repeated. "It's after someone else. Someone who has a deeper connection to the supernatural."

As he spoke, the sound of mocking laughter echoed through the temple, distant yet chilling. The sinister sound seemed to come from everywhere and nowhere at once, making the hair on the back of their necks stand up.

Rahul held Hardik tighter, his protective instincts kicking in. "What do we do now?" he asked, his voice a mix of fear and determination.

Jadeja looked at them, his expression unreadable. "You must find out who the petni is truly after. Only then can you confront it."

The temple's calm interior now felt oppressive and filled with dread. The laughter outside grew louder, mocking their fear and uncertainty. The group huddled together, realizing that their ordeal was far from over and that the true nature of their haunting was more complex and terrifying than they had ever imagined.

As they prepared to leave the temple, Hardik couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched, not just by the petni, but by something much darker and more malevolent. Their journey for answers had only just begun, and the path ahead was fraught with unknown dangers.
