it's crazy how the beauty standards are so wrong

hourglass figure , having long, straight, shiny hair, a button nose, clear skin and perfect teeth

at least that's the social media version of a "beautiful girl"
that is wrong in so many ways, though

beauty can be anything
small nose or big nose
Big waist or small waist
Big forehead or small forehead
acne or clear skin
loose/tight curls bouncing I'm the sun or straight hair shining in the moonlight
beauty isn't just having curves and a good side profile

of course, beauty standards don't just include girls
a "handsome boy"
is considered to have fluffy hair and abs
not to wear glasses or have crooked teeth or be chubby
to have a bad attitude but isn't toxic
to be a gentlemen but not too kind, or he's seen as a softy
to not be a mamas boy but to also appreciate his mum
to not cry but also not get angry when he's not allowed to express himself
a "handsome boy" is having brown fluffy hair and brown eyes

beauty is so much more than silly standards we allow society to create for us
