Adhira's POV

Neon lights and smell of food is what envelopes us amidst the sound of thundering clouds.

"It's getting cold right?" I question Akanksh while rubbing my hands together.

"Yeah" he replied looking at me, his hands tucked in the pockets of his trousers.

"Let's head home or do you need anything else?" He asks this as if we just didn't buy 10-12 bags worth of stuff.

"Are you mad? How are we going to take this much stuff on a bike? That to in this weather" I was bewildered to say the least.

"Calm down moonlight, I have ten to twelve cars for each and every bag ready" is this guy a psychopath?

My mouth hanged open at his reply and he just smirked as if he has just won a war.

"You know what, I don't even want to argue on this. Rich people and their money" i scoffed as I carried my heavy bags and loaded it in a car which I know is his as no one is present here except us.

"My money is your money moonlight so by this you are quite rich yourself" i slamed the door of the car and looked back at my husband.

My husband who is holding as many bags he could and still smirking at me because he thinks he's a smart ass. 

"Great then, now shall we go home Mr Egoistic Jerk Singh Chauhan?" I smiled a sarcastic smile and walked passed him towards the bike.

I didn't see his reaction but hopefully this will keep his mouth shut for a moment?

I grab my helmet and wear it on my head and by then Akanksh too joins in and starts the bike.

The clouds thundered and the air chilled way more than five minutes ago.

"Let's get going, the weather doesn't seem that good" he said and I nodded. Ofcourse he didn't see it but as I settled behind him he asked "chale?" And I placed my hand on his shoulder and said "chaliye".

He started the bike and I pressed myself against his shoulder as I was very tired and was feeling a bit cold, I closed my eyes to rest them. The warmth of Akanksh's body and the cold wind blowing made all the goosebumps on my skin to rise up.

It might be a good five minutes when the car which had all of belongings took a seperate road as it was going back to our home and we were going back to mine.

"Adhira"

"Hmm" i mumbled, as I heard Akanksh's faint sound. I was so tired that I was drousing in and out of sleep.

"Adhira, do not look behind but I see two cars following us from the mirror" this caused me to actually wake up from my sleep clouded mind.

"We are being followed?" I asked Akanksh as I peaked at the mirror on the bike to check and indeed there are two black coloured cars following us.

"Yes they have been from ten minutes approximately. At first I thought these guys were random cars which were going somewhere but now I am sure that they are following us"

My eyes grew wide in fear and I suddenly wanted to look back at the cars "do not look back Adhira, we need to get out of here first as they might be carrying guns on them and the first bullet can injure you so we need to divert to another road. Leading them to the house can put the kids in danger"
