ADHIRAS POV

"Adhiraa!" Is all it took for that son of a thangabali to look back and that's when I did it.

I slammed the piece of wooden stick to his head and started beating him.

"Kutte, kamine, saale, mere pati ko kya Dene ki koshish kar rha tha! Tum laato ke bhoot baato se nhi mante na? Tumko tumari mummy ne kabhi maara nhi kya?" I mocked him and continued beating him hard.

(Bastards, what were you trying to give to my husband! People like you do not understand anything without a beating right? Didn't your mom ever slap you)

He groaned and hissed in protest but since I got the jackpot in the first shot, he was busy clutching his head.

"Bhabhisa! Do you plan on killing him? We need him alive" Ishaan said and snatched away the stick from my hands and threw it to the ground.

I was heaving by the time Ishaan pulled me to the side.

I don't know what got over me.

Maybe it was the fear of loosing a person? Maybe the friendship that we have started to develop made me do it? Or maybe, i didn't want to see another person to be injected by some drug.

"Ishaan! Take Adhira back to the house" Akanksh yelled while holding the head of the gang by his collar.

Blood was rushing down his head and he was barely awake.

This made chills run down my body.

"Bhabhi sa, let's get you back home. The children are worrying about you" Ishaan said and held me by my shoulders and my ankle was still sore.

I can't believe I hit that guy without even the knowledge of what I was doing.

After a few steps we reached Ishaan's car where he placed me on the passenger seat before taking the driver's seat himself.

I did i loose control on myself there. This wasn't suppose to happen ever again right?

The blood splattered everywhere when the stick made contact with his head. I felt relieved and happy? When I saw him groaning and asking for help to save his life.

I wasn't in my sense.

It felt like I wasn't even here rather I was back at the same situation, 4 years ago.

"Bhabhi sa, would you like to listen to some music?" Ishaan asked and I was forced out of my trans.

"Yeah sure" i mumbled, finally looking up  towards the window. We were leaving the forest area for sure.

Ishaan switched on the radio and ghost of Chicago by Noah Floersch started playing.

As the song started, i started vibing with the song a bit due to its catchy lyrics.
