Akanksh's POV

She didn't know that I had already booked out the entire fair, just for her to enjoy and buy whatever her heart desires.

She doesn't need to.

Even though her eyes were puffed up, hairs were scattered due to sleep, she looked phenomenal.

Like the brightest star, her eyes twinkle with joy as she looked around the Mela, deciding which ride she want to go first.

"Akanksh, let's go to the dragon one" she happily hopped and ran towards the ride.

Hopefully I didn't make any mistake by bringing Adhira here.

I walked towards her, while she was already strapping herself to the seat.

"It's so fun right?" She looked up towards my face as i reached her "The ride hasn't even started yet and you already think that it's fun?"

She pouted on my comment angrily " excuse me? It is fun! Maybe not for an oldie like you but for me, yes".

She called me and 'oldie'? Not old but oldie?

She was supposed to be a nursery class teacher right? Then why is she behaving like one right now.

I don't have the time to voice out my opinion as the ride was about to start. So I straped in next to her and the ride started to swing a little.

Mind you that we were in the last part of this boat type swing so as the ride started increasing its pace it became more terrifying for me.

Damn it, this hurts like someone is tickling you.

While Adhira was very happy with this feeling-

"Wooooooooooo, aahhhhhhhhhhhh yipeeeeeeeeeee"

I wasn't happy whatsoever.

I looked at her, one hand in the air and the other one clutching her stomach. Pure happiness reflected on her face like a little child.

Her hair was blowing in the air and her gem bindi twinkled along with her suit.

"It's so fun right?!" The ride went up and "Aahhhhhhhhhh" the ride when down. She happily giggles and holds my hand with hers, holding it tightly like she would fall if she doesn't.

Slowly the ride slows down and I thank god that I survived.

After two minutes we were down and Adhira was again scavenging the area, trying to find what she wants to do next.

But then her eyebrow deepend and looked at me with a worried look "This place won't close down in like an hour or so right?"

"If you need to stay here for an entire day too, the park still will be yours moonlight"

"Then let's not waste time and be here till tomorrow morning" Adhira smiled and grabbed my hand and intertwined with hers.

She held my hand and started dragging me like a kid behind her to wherever she wants to go, but I just stare at our intertwined hands.

Her hands were cold yet so delicate against mine. Our wedding rings glinted from the neon lights around us creating sparks which I definitely feel around.

"Akanksh, let's eat ice cream?"

And I get out of my trance.

Adhira's POV

"Bhaiya, ek kesari kulfi dena aur-" I take a pause and look at Akanksh "what will you have?" I ask him.
