"Why do you want to know about Aryarjun, girls? Huh, huh!?"

Anjali and her two PG friends, Anupama and Bhoomika, decided to take a step forward by researching the showman Aryarjun. In the process, they stumbled upon their PG senior and Aryarjun's classmate, Divyashree. It was late at night after an eventful opening day. Divyashree is a very sweet and charming girl who is ever-smiling and caring, giving off that responsible elder sister vibe. Bhoomika narrated the entire fresher's day saga and Anjali's feelings towards Aryarjun. Divyashree listened with all smiles.

"Anju, I understand. Age is the culprit here, and Aryarjun is no less a criminal! He's been stealing hearts ever since he joined this college, and as far as I know, he's been doing it since his school days. He's a born talent, a prodigy you could say. He's always been a topper, but that's not his only expertise. He's a rockstar. You've already seen a glimpse of it! That was a performance from the music club of C.G.S. Adding to it, he is the college football captain! Girls like you go crazy because of his looks and charm! But the main reason people admire him is because of the person he is! Even after being the perfectionist, he is the most down-to-earth person you will ever come across. He'll be the first to help you out, very kind, with a contagious smile. Uff... I think I've said enough about my dear friend, but it's just the tip of the iceberg! Ask me anything specific you want to know, and I'll tell you!" said Divyashree.

"Does he have a girlfriend?" asked Anjali, biting her nails. "Should I say the truth or a lie?" responded Divyashree. "Tell anything, we'll guess," Anupama reacted immediately. "I'm his girlfriend!" said Divyashree, raising her eyebrows and giving a taunting smile. "Definitely a lie! Because even if we believe Aryarjun has a girlfriend, we'll never believe you have a boyfriend. Even if Aryarjun proposed first, you would have declined," said Bhoomika.

"Even if a guy ten times better than me proposed to her, she would have declined! So I didn't take the risk of being a rejected character in her life. Rather, I let her become a regret story of my life..." popped up a message from 'Vaishnoothan.' Abhishek viewed it and immediately replied, "I won't leave you until you complete her story. Take your time, but I need to hear about it. All you told today was crush, eye contact, and smile..."

"Look girls, Aryarjun is a great guy, no doubt about that. But be it a boyfriend or a husband, he doesn't need to be 'the' perfect guy, rather he has to be 'your' perfect guy, a guy who adores you for everything you are! Don't just fall for looks, Anjali. Take your time, interact with him, and get to know him completely. He's currently just an infatuation. 'Love is something you know has happened to you after it has already made its unrepairable impact,'" explained Divyashree.

"Yes akka, you are right. I should interact with him to know about him completely. You are the ultimate guide, so give me his phone number so that I can interact..." Anjali gave a bombastic side-eye to Divyashree and smiled. "How about I introduce you to him personally, this time in a usual manner?" asked Divyashree. "No, no!" Anjali reacted immediately. "I think texting would be better. I'm not used to talking to boys..." "Aryarjun generally takes 2-3 business days to reply."

"So tomorrow, we are applying for the library card, right? Don't forget to bring your stamp-size photo! And a very good night, VaishNoothan!" texted Abhishek. "Thanks for reminding me, and I pray that your other side of the pillow is as hot as me," replied Noothan. This sparked a smile on both their faces before they entered their dreamland, the only place where Noothan could take action instead of just going blank and silent.

"You have to get it signed and sealed by the H.O.D. and submit it to the librarian. You can collect your cards once you find your names on the notice board!" told the college clerk. "Everything written?" asked Noothan. "Except my future," replied Abhishek. "Shut up and come, let's get it signed real quick." Noothan and Abhishek reached out to the H.O.D's cabin only to find she was busy and they were asked to wait. Both of them were sitting on the bench attached to the walls of the corridor and were chatting. Then there came a sweet voice approaching Noothan's ears, "Can you please move a bit so that even I could have a seat?" Noothan turned, and his eyes enlarged, looking at the girl giving out a gentle smile, "Vaish?..." he whispered.

Abhishek pulled him towards himself to provide space for the girl to sit, realizing Noothan was out of his senses

Abhishek pulled him towards himself to provide space for the girl to sit, realizing Noothan was out of his senses. "So are you also waiting for the H.O.D's signature for the library card?" "Yes," replied the nervous Noothan awkwardly. "Hi! I'm Muskan! Which section do you belong to?" asked the girl. "Eh?" Noothan said to himself, "So she wasn't smiling at me then? She didn't even look at me? I'm convinced I'm the most delusional guy ever to have existed. She's just like Vaish, completely ignoring me..." A thousand thoughts butchered our overthinker. "Ah... We are from 'B' section. I'm Abhishek. Nice to meet you!" replied Abhishek, understanding Noothan was lost in his thoughts. "Oh! Even I'm from 'B' section! So we are classmates then!" smiled Muskan. "That's great, Muskan! We will surely be more than classmates!" Obviously, this was told by Abhishek. Noothan doesn't add a phrase that continues the communication. "Sure sure! And what's the class we have after this break? It's some elective, right?" asked Muskan. "Yeah, actually, we have to go to different classrooms. It was on the notice board." At this moment, even Noothan was shocked at how he managed to frame a sentence. "Oh! Is it? Can you share the room allotment with me? Take my number!"

"Number! Phone number! A girl! A girl giving her phone number! To you! who is a boy! Red alert! Red alert! New achievement unlocked!..." Noothan's inner announcers screamed the hell out of his brain. Every digit of her number she told sent an electric pulse straight to his heart. "Thanks for the message. By the way, you didn't tell me your name. What should I save your number as?" asked Muskan. "Vi, Vi, Vi..." Noothan stuttered. "V!? That makes a good nickname actually!" said Muskan, giving a smile. "His name is Vibinn Noothan," said Abhishek. "Oh, okay! Anyway, I'm saving it as 'V'!"

"You can meet the H.O.D now," the attendant said. They went towards the door. "I'm not opening the door, you guys do it. I'll follow you," Noothan said, looking at the ground. "I'll take the lead," said Abhishek. They got the form signed and sealed.

"I hope you will open the door someday, V!" said Muskan with an unusual tone.

Noothan stood there looking at Muskan, realizing she has opened the door to his heart, breaking the Vaishnavi lock which was sealed by Noothan himself...
