This morning I have the joy of hearing the loud aggressive knock my idiotic brother bangs on the door to 'wake me up', but I'm convinced it was to give me a heart attack.
"Steven what the hell!" I yell at him while getting up from my bed.
"I didn't even knock that loud, don't be a baby." He says crossing his arms with a scoff acting like I'm overreacting.
"Just close the door and leave." I snap. He then rolls his eyes and slams the door. Before getting up I let out a loud yawn and stretch before getting up. I walk over to my closet and shuffle through it in hopes of finding something cute to wear.
(this is your outfit, feel free to imagine any other outfit though)
As I walk downstairs, Susannah greets me with a somewhat mischievous grin. It was obvious she was going to try and get me to do something.
"There's my girl!" She says with a smile. She follows me over to the kitchen where I go to pour myself some cereal, where everyone was. "So I was thinking.." She starts to say, "you should become a debutante!" She finishes her sentence and I nearly choke on my cereal.
"Y/n? A debutante? Funny." Jeremiah snickers with Steven. I just roll my eyes at them and Susannah gives Jeremiah a look to knock it off which immediately made Jeremiah stop.
"Yes, I believe y/n should be a debutante. Even Belly already decided she would be one." Susannah says and Belly nods.
"I don't know Beck, this sounds expensive.." My mom says using her special nickname for Susannah.
"Don't worry Laurel, it's on me. It's the least I can do for my special girls." Susannah replies, and mom seems like she's thinking about it for a moment, but then lets out a sigh.
"It's up to y/n, I'll go along with it if she's willing to." She says.
I think about it for a little while, but then I realize that those rich kids would eat Belly alive if I wasn't there. "Fine. I'll do it." I finally say, giving an assuring look to Susannah.
"Wonderful! Both my girls are going to be debutantes!" Susannah says with a smile on her face. But then I once again, see Jeremiah looking over at me. But this time, I see a bit of desire and slight shock in his eyes.
