For Abigal
Today was the day after our basketball championship and our team did awful. I felt like it was my fault because I can't play. I just wanted to stay in my room. I was watching tv when I heard knocking at my apartment door. "Who is it?" I said lowly looking through the peep hole. It was my boyfriend of two years Stephen Curry. "Hey babe." He said kissing my cheek. I pulled him into a hug. "Hey." I replied quietly walking back to the couch. "What's wrong Abigal?" He asked rubbing my stomach lightly and slowly. "Nothing just that my team did horrible in the championship and it's all my fault." You said not realizing you were now sobbing. "Baby it's okay. There's nothing you could do. You've been working hard and helping your team. But soon you'll be back on the court to improve for the championship next year. I think you need some cheering up."He smiled "where are we going?" He walked back to my room grabbed a pair of shoes and picked me up careful not to put pressure on my stomach. "Wardell Stephen Curry! Put me down. Who's gonna watch Issy?" I screamed. "She's at Klay and Asia's house."

He locked the door and put me in the car. "Stephen. I would've went you didn't have to kidnap me. Can I at least change my clothes? I look like a bum." He started the car. "What are you talking about you look beautiful. " he said pulling out of the parking space. After 10 minutes he pulled into a parking space at the mall. He handed me the shoes and I put them on. "Why are we here?" You asked. "Because I'm going to treat you to some shopping." He got out and opened my door and helped me out. "Thanks but you don't have to babe." "It's fine. I want to. Now let's go." He said grabbing your hand pulling you into Macys. You guys went in and I picked up a few outfits. "Is that all you want?" He asked. I nodded. We walked out hand in hand. We walked into Foot Action. He picked up a pair of Jordan's for you. "Do you like these?" You nodded. "How much are they?" He flipped the shoe over. "Two hundred sixty. " you made a face. "That's a lot of money Steph. I don't want you to spend that much money on me." He smiled "no I want to Abigal. Today is your day. Everything is for you. So are there the ones you want?" You nodded "I guess so. Thanks baby." I pulled him into a kiss. "Its fine." He said chuckling. He went to somebody who worked there and told him my size. He got the shoes a brought the box back to me. I tried it on and it fit perfectly. I slipped the shoe off and handed it to him. We walked to the register and he handed the lady the box. "$280.89." The lady said. I look up at Steph. He pulled at his wallet and handed the lady three one hundred dollar bills. She handed him is change. We walked around to a few more stores and walked backto the car.
"Oh, here." He opened the glove department and pulled out a bandana and handed it to me. "Put this on." "Okay. Steph what are y..." I started but he cut me off. "You'll see just put it on." I put it on.
After about what seemed like 15 or 20 minutes the car stopped. Steph shut his door. He walked around, opened my door and helped me out. We continued walking for about 5 minutes when we stopped he took off my blindfold and my jaw almost fell. "This is so beautiful." My mouth was open. He lead me to a blanket with candles lit around it with white lights hanging up around it. On the blanket there was all my favorite foods and desserts. "I told you today was your day. I wanted to make it extra special, ya know. I wanted to cater to you." He said smiling." I leaned in and kissed him passionately. "I love you Stephen. " I said smiling. "I love you too Abigal" he said smiling at me. "Now let's feed my baby." He smiled kissing my stomach. "You mean our baby boy?" I said chuckling. His face lit up. "It's a boy?!" I nodded. He pulled me into a hug. "Thank you so much. Today was the best." I said still shocked. "Nothing but the best for the best." We sat there looking up at the stars and just enjoying each others company.
