For Ryleigh
Grayson! I yelled I my boyfriend Grayson Allen of Duke University."What babe?" He asked coming downstairs. His face dropped when he seen I was with my friends. "Will you watch Neighbors with us?" I asked smiling at the end. "Uh I um hate that movie. " he shuttered. I made a face. "Okay. " I turned back towards my fiends. "That was weird. He loved neighbors. What if he's cheating. He's been so distant and out late at night. Oh my he's cheating on me. " I said my face in my hands" the room was silent. "Listen Ryleigh he's not cheating on you. He's.." Amber started but Jasmine cut her off by saying "don't." "I have to. I'd rather tell her than think he's cheating." She turned to face me. "He's not cheating. He's just planing a surprise for you." She finished. "But don't tell him we told you and when you see it still act surprised." Jasmine added. "But I should get going bye." She stood up to hug me. "Yeah I should go too." She said giving me a hug too. I went to my room and got ready for bed. I laid down and tried to go to sleep but my thoughts wouldn't let me. What if he is cheating on me and told Amber to cover for him. What is the surprise? My thoughts were interrupted by a strong arm wrapping around my waist pulling me towards him. I turned to face Grayson. "You are so beautiful." He whispered. I smiled "thanks." I said burying my head in the crook of his neck and slowly drifting off to sleep. The next day I woke up to an empty bed. He's gone yet again. I got up stepping a few rose pedals. I looked down and noticed a trail of red and white roses leading to the balcony. I came out to see A table set with two plates and two champagne glasses filled with apples juice. I was in shock. I stood there for a second until felt kisses being trailed down my neck. "Good morning." I said turned to face him. "Good morning. Breakfast is ready. " he smiled leading me to a seat and pulling the chair out for me. I looked down at my plate and noticed it said "marry me?" Spelled out in baccon,eggs and bits of pancakes. I looked around and Grayson was on one knee. "Ryleigh we've been together for 2 and a half wonderful years and I noticed nobody else in the world is more perfect for me. So.." He opened the box to see a 14 karat diamond ring. "Will you marry me?" He looked into my eyes I nodded my hand still covering my mouth. "Yes!" I said tears coming from my eyes. He smiled and slipped the ring on my finger. I couldn't ask for any better fiancé.
