TRUSTING God and trying to PLEASE Him.🤍
So, trusting God and trying to please Him are two different things. Trusting God is about having faith in His plan and surrendering to His will, even when we don't understand what's going on. It's about relying on Him to guide and provide for us.
On the other hand, trying to please God can be more about our own efforts to earn His approval. This can lead to legalism and a focus on our own performance rather than His grace. While pleasing God is a natural response to our love for Him, it's important to remember that our acceptance and worth come from His grace, not our own works.
The best part is, God is more pleased with us when we trust Him, because trust is a sign of faith, and faith is what pleases Him (Hebrews 11:6). When we trust God, we're essentially saying, "God, I believe in Your goodness, Your love, and Your sovereignty. I believe You've got this, and I surrender to Your will." That kind of trust and surrender brings joy to His heart!
