ALARIC WAS ARRIVING AT THE PLACE WHERE THEY HAD AGREED. the white haired boy would arrive about five minutes before the agreed time, but as soon as he got closer to the place, cater was there leaning against the wall. when cater's green eyes noticed alaric, a smile appeared on his face. "alaric! i thought you would take longer." cater said, alaric looked at his pocket watch before looking back at his upperclassman "there are still four minutes left for time we marked..."
cater let out a laugh before placing a hat on his underclassman's head. the hat was a dark blue very close to black, with the night raven college symbol on the front "well, we better go if we're not going to be late." said the ginger as he started heading towards the gymnasium. alaric rethought if he really wanted to spend his day in a gym full of people, who were clearly screaming. but as soon as he saw cater calling him, alaric sighed and started heading towards him, who at this time was already at the gymnasium door.
when the two heartslabyul students enter the gym, alaric immediately noticed that there weren't as many people as he thought. "deuce!" cater exclaimed as he started heading towards a blue haired boy. alaric immediately recognized the boy, he was the same one who was afraid of being bitten by a flamingo. "i didn't know you were so interested in basketball, spade." alaric said as he looked at the blue haired boy "ace is at the club, so as a good friend i am, i came to support him." replied the blue haired boy. alaric looked at cater, clearly indicating that he didn't know who this ace was "ace is another one of the new underclassman, you know the one who ate the tart" said cater, answering the question that alaric hadn't even asked, the white haired boy agreed with head before looking at the basketball court
not many minutes after cater spoke, it was announced that the game would start in a minute. alaric could hear the sound of the camera on cater's phone, after a few seconds the noise of the crowd increased. when alaric's eyes returned to the basketball court he noticed that the teams were entering, the first team he picked had a white uniform with light blue lines on the sides, but what caught alaric's attention the most was the symbol of royal sword academy
the people on the rsa team who caught alaric's attention the most were a boy with curly red hair, and alaric couldn't really see their eye color. the other boy who caught the hearslabyul boy's attention was a tall boy with black hair tied into a high ponytail. as soon as the rsa team headed towards their side of the basketball court, the night raven college team entered. alaric immediately recognized one of the people, jamil viper, the same person he was doing group work on astrology class with.
alaric could only look at jamil as the nrc team headed towards his side of the field. "are you okay alaric?" carter asked as he looked at the white haired boy, who just nodded as he looked at jamil. cater followed alaric's gaze, smiling as soon as he realized who was looking at the second-year boy. "okay! i see you alaric." said cater while giving alaric a light elbow. the white haired boy looked at the ginger, not understanding what he was trying to say, when alaric turned his gaze to the field, more specifically to jamil. scarabia's vice housewarden's brown eyes were already on him, alaric's eyes widened, but quickly returned to normal. alaric gave a tumbs up to jamil, receiving a small smile from the brown haired boy.
THE GAME WAS OVER. alaric didn't really know how to describe it, he wasn't very good at describing games. but apparently from the look of the boys on the royal sword academy team, night raven college had won. "come on alaric! let's congratulate our underclassman." cater said with a smile on his face as he pulled out alaric. the boy with white hair was trying not to trip over the people sitting on the bench "cater, i'm going to fall." alaric tried to speak, but cater was more concerned about apologizing to the people he was pushing out the way
alaric pressed his lips together as he heard the murmurs of the students that the ginger had been bumping into. "cater, what are you doing here?" asked a terracotta haired boy as he pulled his hair back "what kind of upperclassman would i be if i didn't come and watch an underclassman play." said cater while taking photos of ace, who was trying to drink from his water bottle. alaric on the other hand was more focused on a person sitting on the bench drinking water, the boy with white hair went towards them "i didn't know you were on the basketball club..."
jamil almost choked when he heard alaric "it's not something i brag about it... i didn't know you were coming to see the game." said the boy with brown hair as he watche alaric sit next to him "i didn't know there was going to be a game. cater was the one who pulled me to watch." alaric said as he noticed that, unlike the other members of the team, jamil had a red half like sleeve with a gold snake on top. "honestly, i didn't know the basketball club was so active. we usually hear more about the track and field club, because of the events." continued the boy with red eyes
"um... actually the basketball club is normally very calm. but apparently the captain of the rsa club wanted a friendly game against us, he was begging the rsa headmage for it." jamil explained as he placed his already empty bottle on the floor "so... do you like basketball?" said jamil trying not to show how awkward the question had been, vice housewarden really wanted to know more about alaric "not really, i'm not a very sporty person as you could see in the flying class" said alaric letting out a small laugh at the end
"if you want, i can teach you how to play." jamil said as he looked at alaric who had his head tilted "really? i don't want you to feel forced to help me or anything." said the boy with white hair as he looked around the gym, noticing that the only people left were cater with the two first-year students and a staff member who was cleaning the benches "don't worry if i didn't want you wouldn't offer to help.." replied the boy with brown hair, alaric nodded before noticing cater calling him
"i have to get going. but let's schedule that." alaric said as he stood up "yes, just send a message." replied jamil as alaric started to distance himself. "quite a busy person." cater said as soon as alaric got close enough, the second-year boy raised an eyebrow, not understanding what the green-eyed boy meant. cater let out a laugh before following alaric who was heading towards the gymnasium exit. "sooo you and jamil?" asked the ginger while looking at alaric's back, who completely ignored cater
