___Ambriel's POV___

Silence stood in the air. Peter pursed his lips and held his cut hand looking down at the ground.

"Who was he?" I asked quietly hoping I wouldn't say the wrong thing in this delicate situation.

"The youngest lost boy" Peter said muffled by his shirt.

I gestured for him to continue. He took a deep breath settling in his seat looking up at me.

"He was 5" Peter said.

I held in a gasp. I didn't want to make him feel bad he already seemed to be punishing himself for something.

"5?" I echoed shocked that Peter would take someone so young here. Jayden was probably the youngest and he was 11.

"I didn't mean to take him ,it just sort of happened" he said.

Peter eyes brimmed with tears. It was like he was trying to hold everything back.

I placed my hand on top of his. He looked up at me slowly.

"You can tell me" I said not sure whether I was suggesting or demanding.

Peter gave me an unsure look but still started to talk.

___Peter's flashback___

I flew across the sky staring at the empty streets below me. I knew I was making a good choice here.

Dylan was a strong. Physically and emotionally. He would make a good lost boy.

He didn't have a nice life living on his own at the age of 16 without parents so I was really doing him a favour.

I leaned down more making myself duck down into the streets. The dim street lights did a terrible job at giving the road light.

The musty smell filled the air. Smoke bellowed from behind buildings and puddles showed me my reflection.

Turning the corner onto a small run down road I noticed Dylan's small apartment on the 5th floor.

Smiling to myself knowing it was a good decision. No immediate family , not many friends and good cook.

Leaning up against the building looking around checking for people one more time.

Satisfied with the surroundings I slowly and quietly opened the window.

It slid open with ease. I smirked at the stupidity of not having a lock on your window but it made everything easier for me.

Stepping inside weightlessly floating inches of the ground I scammed the room.

A small sitting room with a table and chair and a couch.

I slid between the furniture into another room. Big metal machines filled this one with dishes that glimmered in the low light from outside.

They weren't made of wood which I found strange. I looked around a bit confused at all the metal stuff.

I sighed and moved back my back hitting off one of the metal things.

It began to rumble making a swishing mouse. I looked around frantically for something to hit it with.

A light switched on from the other room. Too late now.

I stepped away and moved into the shadows behind another... I didn't know what it was.

Dylan came out wearing a ridiculous looking outfit. He switched a small with plastic thing in the wall and the room filled with light.
