Hashira Meeting

Timeskip: To Hashira Meeting

Before I knew it, a month had passed. I had some missions here and there, but overall nothing too exciting.

At the time, I was staying at the Butterfly Mansion. I had just completed my own Rehabilitation Training. You would think those three girls would be more kind, but damn were they strong.

Along with those three helping with the Rehabilitation Training was Kanao and Aoi. Aoi seemed more open and more vocal than Kanao was. But nonetheless, they were both sweet girls. I think Aoi was a year older than I was and Kanao was the same age I was.

I was walking through the halls of the healing area, I had offered to help Aoi with some patients. The poor girl does most of the work by herself.

In my hand were some towels and medicines sitting on top of it. I was making my way towards a patient's room when Aoi came up to me.

"Hey, Hoshiko. Have you heard about the Hashira Meeting that's going to be happening today?" Aoi asked, also holding some towels. I shook my head and opened the patient's room door.

"No, what's it about?"

I sat next to the patient and handed them their medicine. Aoi leaned against the wall, "I haven't heard that part, but it's supposed to be something really important." I finished with the patient, setting a warm rag on their forehead.

"You have a patient too right?" I asked, walking back to her. With that, she groaned.

"I do, but he won't stop whining about his medicine," she rolled her eyes as we walked towards her patients room.

"Isn't it that spider boy?" She nodded. "There's another guy, but honestly he's being really quiet. The spider boy says that's not normal for him."

"Those are boys who were on Mount Natagumo, I heard there are multiple strong demons up there. One being a lower five, I think."

"I'm just a healer, I don't go killing all the demons like you do, Hoshiko." Aoi said, holding her head up. I chuckled at her statement, "Yeah, but it's kinda nice to just walk around and heal people."

We opened the room door, and compared to my patients room, this one was much bigger. I saw a boy with yellow hair shouting at two nurses who were just trying to give him medicine. The bed next to him laid a boy (?) with a boar mask on.

I leaned over to whisper to Aoi.

"This is what you've been dealing with?"

She sighed and nodded her head, before she made her way to the yellow haired boy.

"Hey! If you want your limbs to grow back to the original size you have to drink the medicine!" Aoi shouted, putting a hand on her hip.

The boy just kept deflecting her, clearly not having it.

I shook my head and walked to the boar head, I sat down, and handed his medicine to him. "Here. Drink."

So he slowly grabbed the medicine, only tilting the mask a little to drink it, then handed the cup back to me.

Nodding, I set the cup down on the bedside table, diverting my eyes to look at Aoi. Somehow, she got the yellow haired boy to drink the medicine. A miracle worker, that girl is.

I saw my Tsukgo bird sit in the window, I raised the window up. "Yes?"

"Mission in Lahan Village, in the West, tonight." The bird spoke, I stroked her head and nodded. "Got it, I'll start preparing, I'll have to let Shinbou know where I'm going."
