Dreams suck

December 25th, 2023, 1:32 a.m, New York City 

I think I got about two hours of sleep. The first 3 seconds were great and then the dreams started.

The dreams were a highlight reel of my worst memories. Starting from when I was two and watched my parents get killed, then when I was five and showed no feelings when I pulled the trigger that ended a mans life, to when I was locked up in a cell for weeks with no food and no water all because I couldn't kill the man who raised me.

So as you can expect I woke up in a cold sweat, my heart beating fast, and irregular breathing.

Life is great.

I tried to calm down with no luck I just sat there still in that room with only a table and chair that I was chained to.

I stayed like that until I heard the door open. As soon as I heard the door open I put on an emotionless face as if none of that just happened.

I looked up at who walked in. Hawkeye and Black Widow. A joke started to form in my head but I decided to keep it in until the right moment.

"What do want now?" I say, picking at the handcuffs that bound me to this dang table.

"Ready to talk?" Birdbrain asked.

"Can I at least know your guys names? And fine I'll talk."

"I'm Clint and that's Natasha. First question, how long have you been with Hydra?"

"It was a forced job not choice. And about 13 years about."

This time it was Natasha that spoke up. "How old are you?"

"15"

They both raise an eyebrow in unison.

"So cute that you guys do stuff in unison. Now unlock this handcuff before I cut my hand off."

"You don't even have a knife." The man Clint said this like it would be a problem.

"Don't need one."

"You don't look very healthy. Why is that?"

"No sleep, no food, no water. Running on adrenaline most of the time."

They share a look. I hate looks.

"You know what I need? A fight. Will one of you fight me?"

"Not in here. Are you challenging me?" Natasha spoke calmly though I could tell she would fight me.

A/N: Sorry for the short chapter I am just in a lot of pain because I had to get a tooth pulled a few hours back. I will write more when I start to feel better. Luv u.
