WED. 12:42 AM. DAY THREE.

kirishima's ruby red eyes were focused on the passing neighborhood; it looked less than pleasant– dilapidated houses with crumbling doorsteps and perforated, old, barbwire fence that looked like it couldn't keep out a 6 old.

the car rolled slowly through the narrow, cracked, dimly lit street that splits between two rows of houses.

every corner and front yard was littered with sketchy looking individuals– baggy pants and colorful tattoos wrapped around their arms and faces. no doubt half of these men & women were apart of some kind of gang or a smaller branch of a much bigger yakuza group.

the air felt thick, suffocating even, as the bakusquad felt the watchful eyes follow their vehicle as it slowly passed.

they were on their way to a motel not far from the area, but as luck would have it: the only way to reach their stop was by going through this neighborhood first.

denki, sero, mina & (y/n) were unusually quiet— only locking eyes with the gangsters on either side of the car through their windows. dumb move.

the hoodlums, who didn't seem happy about the sudden intrusion, watched with keen interest (and thinly disguised malevolence) as the bakusquad moved along; they muttered amongst themselves, nothing good surely.

"pick up the pace, bakugou." eijiro muttered. "these people look like bad news let's not hang around more than we need to."

bakugou, with his hand stretched to hold the steering wheel, shrugged dismissively. "i'm not worried about these low life extras." he replied, "i'm more concerned about why my car isnt picking up speed after that race we had earlier."

"hello? what the fuck does that mean?" a certain electric boy leaned over the car's center console between the driver and passenger seats. "you tellin' me this thing is gonna breakdown right here of all places?!"

katsuki could only roll his red eyes at his friend's frantic questions, "well i can only assume it's your fault, power plug! that stunt you pulled with your little power up probably did something to the motor."
