WED. 8:30 PM. DAY THREE.
some time passed with the six waiting patiently for bakugou's grandma to arrive, they were confused by what was taking her so long if she apparently lived in iwate, but they really didn't have room to demand; all they can do was sit and wait.
unbeknownst to them she had arrived a long time ago, almost 15 minutes after katsuki initially called - she was busy working out the details with the officers and how much she needs to bail them out with.
in the girls' cell, mina laid half-awake on the metal bench while (y/n) and berenelda sat playing with nibbles.
when the cell door was swung open, all four jumped at the sudden clank. two cops stared at them with cold faces, an old woman standing next to them.
"what?" mina raised a brow, "you found out denki's a girl too?"
just when she said that, the blond boy stepped into view, the rest of the guys behind him. "fuck you, bitch."
"you're getting out." one of the officers said, pointing at the old woman. "this nice lady payed your bail."
"awaah!" (y/n) grinned, yanking nibbles into her arms before standing at full height to bow 90 degrees. with her hand on nibbles' head, she made it so the bunny also bowed his head along with her. "thank you!!"
"yeah thanks!" mina added.
bakugou's grandma frowned, adjusting her sunglasses. despite her age, she carried herself with strength and authority, she filled the entire room with her presence.
she wore a feathered boa around her neck and her blond-gray hair was twisted into a tight bun. with a slight push of a finger, her sunglasses tilted down so she could look clearly at the two girls. "up and out." she commanded. "now!"
"yes ma'am." mina immediately stood up and walked out of the cell with (y/n) trailing behind her.
the bakusquad, all 18 to 19 years old, followed mrs. bakugou to her car like a line of ducklings. "get in." she ordered, her tone leaving no room for argument- they piled into the vehicle without so much as a grunt.
