Days came and went. It wasn't too long after the meeting when all of the prisoners in the hospital were informed that an escape plan was going to happen. According to Thomas, most of them were rejoicing, many of them were physically prepared for the day of the breakout. All the people who were doing their parts of the plan including Albina had received a walkie-talkie. The vans' gas tanks were fully fueled the night before the plan could take place. Everyone was ready.
It was May 2 2010, the day Albina was supposed to have her appointment with Dr. Smok but of course, his appointment was going to be ruined today. Her appointment was to take place at 3:10 but Albina and Thomas made it clear that the plan would begin half an hour earlier. During that half-hour, the computer hackers would hack into the system, most of the guards would be taken out, the two people in charge of the generators would control the generators, the trucks would be ready and finally guides would lead the other prisoners out. Albina was supposed to distract Smok and Snynnister during the breakout and then Thomas would come to her rescue. With a bit of faith, everything should go according to plan and this would all turn out well. Would it? What if everything fell apart? It would be a humiliating defeat and everyone would pay the consequences. No matter what doubt everyone had, there was no backing out because it was all too late.
Lester was his name – he was the guy that was supposed to take out the guards in the bowels of the hospital. Some other people named Ravi, José, Rinko and Vito would also take out the guards. It was highly possible that the guards would be guarding the vans and the generators so they would have to be taken out before the vans and generators would be taken over. No one had to worry about who would be taking over the computers and security cameras but Thomas and his co-workers would take care of that.
Lester had no friends, only co-workers and acquaintances. He did not completely trust Thomas or Albina or think that their plan would work but he was desperate for some kind of escape so this was definitely worth a shot. Part of him wanted to back out because he was afraid of the consequences if the plan failed. The last escape attempt happened two and a half years ago. How it happened was when Bassett and Tomer went to snatch more bodies and one of Smok's patient who was in his thirties sneaked behind the van. When the van left the Underground hospital , the man waited until the van was away from the forest.
And when the crooks were in "Crime Jungle" to snatch more people, he sneaked out of the van; unfortunately, Bassett caught him sneaking out of the van so he shot the man in the back. When he fell down, he got up again and tried to run but Tomer caught up to him and beat him until he was dead. When the thugs brought the body back to Smok, he told his patients that the man tried to escape but he was shot by Smok before the man reached the reception room. Lestor knew the real story behind it because he once accidently overheard Tomer and Bassett complaining about how it the story really happened and how Smok took all the credit.
In this part of the plan where Lestor and his team knock out the guards, they all split up and went to different parts of the hospital to take out the guards. They wouldn't be alone, each person would have someone go with them (except for Lestor) and after they took out the guards they would split up again and go alone. Since there were only five people to take out the guards, someone would have to go alone. Because Lestor had no one, he volunteered to go alone. One of Thomas's co-workers specially modified the walkie-talkies so that there were more than one walkie-talkies to call, meaning that he could call Thomas but also he could switch to calling Rinko or Jose. What worried him was that there were many guards in the hospital so the team was outnumbered. If this plan worked the people running the generators could have control over the backbone of this hospital and the hijackers could take control of the vans. While the guides took the patients to the vans, the teenager, whatever her name was, would distract Smok and take most of the credit for this plan. Great.
