Thanksgiving

It was Thanksgiving and it could not be more chaotic in the Sully household. Neytiri, Tuk, and Neteyam were all in the kitchen preparing the food for the soon to be held feast. Jake and Lo'ak were in the living room watching the game and "cleaning". Kiri was sweeping the floors and dusting the shelves while Spider just followed her around. 

"Spider are you going to follow me around all day or help me clean?" She asks while rolling her eyes. "Look, just because you're here for break doesn't mean you can just stand there and do nothing. We have company coming over so it would be nice if you helped cleaned." 

Spider just looked at her absently before swiping the wipes from a small table and beginning to wipe down any surface he could find. 

The Sully family had moved from Brazil to New Zealand only a year prior and are now hosting Thanksgiving in their new home. Mo'at was coming from Brazil and they were hosting their dear friends The Tonowari family. (I couldn't find if they had a last name or not so just bear with it) 

Spider then begins to speak up saying, "Wait, so who's actually coming today? I know your grandmother is but who else? Tuk's setting up way more than eight plates at the table." 

Without stopping what she's doing Kiri casually responds, "Oh you know, our friends."

"Who though?" 

Sighing, Kiri stops dusting the shelf and says, "Ao'nung, Tsireya, their parents, Rotxo, and his mom." 

Spider had no clue who any of those people were but before he could ask the doorbell rings. 

*Ding Dong*

"I'll get it!" Tuk sequels while running up to the door. 

"Aye! No running in the house, you can hurt yourself Tuk!" Neytiri yells from the kitchen. 

Tuk runs past Kiri and Spider in the foyer and opens the door excitedly. Upon opening the door stand two people. Rotxo and his mom. 

"Rotxo!" Tuk practically screams while jumping up and down. (i literally love tuk omg) 

Rotxo laughs at how cute Tuk is before taking his shoes off and setting them near the door. His mom does the same before walking towards the kitchen with two big containers in her arms. 

"Here let me help you with that," Kiri offers while setting down the duster and taking one of the containers. 

They both walk to the kitchen with Tuk, Rotxo, and Spider trailing not so far behind. Rotxo and Tuk take a seat at the island while Spider goes over to Neteyam. 

*whispering* 

"Bro who are they?" Spider asks.

"That's Rotxo and his mom."

Spider wants to ask more but Neteyam shuts him down by going back to chopping vegetables. Instead Spider turns around so he's facing everyone that's in the kitchen. He sees Kiri, Rotxo, and Tuk all talking at the island and decides to go over.

"Nu-uh That's the wrong way," Tuk whines. 

"What do you mean Tuk, that's obviously the right way, see everyone is going that way," Rotxo says while pointing at the game on her IPad. 

Kiri starts to chuckle before noticing that Spider is looking at them. "Hey, Spider, come I want you to meet Rotxo. I never properly introduced you guys." she says while gesturing for him to come over. "Okay Spider, this is Rotxo. Rotxo this is Spider." 

"Cool! Hi I'm Rotxo," He says with a kind smile. 

Spider nods back and shoots a questioning look at Kiri. 

"Oh, well see Rotxo is my boyfriend" Kiri explains to Spider. Spider nods so Kiri says to Rotxo, "And Spider is like one of my best friends." 

Lo'ak then shouts from the couch behind them, "Lies! Spider is MY best friend not yours Kiri!" 

"Oh shut up Lo'ak!" 

"Oi quit it, I'm trying to watch the game," Jake scolds to both of them. 

Spider laughs awkwardly before the doorbell rings yet again. 

*Ding Dong*

"Ah that must be Mo'at. She said her uber was almost here," Neytiri says while putting the turkey in the oven. "Neteyam will you go get that?" 

Neteyam puts down the knife before walking towards the door. While he's getting the door Tuk drags Rotxo and Kiri to the dining room to further help her set up the table. Together they set up fourteen placemats and dining sets. 

The three finish setting up the dining table and sit in the living room with Lo'ak, Spider, and Jake. Neytiri, Mo'at, Neteyam, and Rotxo's mom (I don't have a name but if you have a suggestion it would be much appreciated!) are in the kitchen preparing and making the food. Everyone is amongst themselves having small conversations with each other. It was like this for a while until the doorbell rings for a third time that night. 

Jake gets up and goes to the door to greet the last of the guests coming over for the night. Conversation is heard in the foyer until all five people emerge from the the corridor and into the main area. Ao'nung and Ronal make they're way to the kitchen to meet with the women and Neteyam while Jake, Tonowari, and Tsireya make their way to the living room to watch the game and for Lo'ak to hug Tsireya. 

"Ew gross," Tuk says while fake gagging. "Tsireya! I made some new bracelets do you want to see?" Tuk says enthusiastically. 

Tsireya nods and Tuk drags her off the couch and up the stairs. 

"Hey wait for me!" Lo'ak exclaims before rushing off the couch and after them. 

Kiri only giggles at what just happened before turning to Rotxo and asking, "Do you want to go sit on the patio in the backyard?" 

"Okay," He replies with a smile before getting up with her. 

Kiri stops before looking at Spider and says, "Spider you're free to join us outside if you would like." 

And with that they head outside to the comfy chairs on the patio. 

Everyone stays in their own groups before Neytiri calls that dinner is ready.

Okay this was wayyy longer than what I imagined! I'm going to go ahead and split this up into multiple parts just for the sake that this was long, and it's really late at the time I'm writing this. I hope you enjoyed this and don't worry I will update hopefully tomorrow! Also regarding updates and whatnot, I'll try to update consistently but no promises because I am going on vacation soon and I have other personal events going on. Anyways thanks for reading! :)
