Balca waited with excitement for the first nibble to her letter. Serenay Ozcan should have received it two days ago. She knew how the game was played, the woman was making her wait. That was fine, she was waiting. It would be worth the effort.

While she waited, she followed the schedule for the newly minted Bolat brats. That still burned her, the fact that Bolat had adopted them. It removed any of her potential legal access to their funds, it wasn't even like he needed that money. She watched as they were picked up and dropped off at the fancy school. Balca even followed them to the marina, 'Yıldız Kovalayan', 'Star Chaser', she snorted with laughter when she saw the name. Bolat had a sense of humor. Like that was what he was chasing, it should have been named 'Tail Chaser' she chuckled to herself.

Balca returned to the marina during the week and decided to take a tour of the boat, she would have liked to go inside but it was locked up tight. The lawyer had been very clever to marry Bolat, she wondered what she had done to get him to the table. How had she gotten the bachelor to commit? Probably got herself knocked up.

Balca wanted to get a locksmith to make her a key for the cabin, she thought that this would do very well for a drop point for the money. It had no connection to her, it only had connection to Bolat, and during the day was deserted. She would call a friend of hers who had no trouble doing things that were mildly illegal for quick cash. Tomorrow was soon enough for him to come and make a key for the cabin.

Serenay opened the envelope once Yilda had left the office for the day and read the note again 'When you are ready to talk contact me, Defendme@secrets.com.' She had to read it twice because the audacity of the oldest girl was like a slap in her face. How dare this fifteen-year-old brat decide that she was going to shake her down for money. Serenay paced in her office trying to decide what to do. She would need to set Defne Bolat straight and teach her a lesson. This would take a little bit of planning. She would ignore the letter for now.

Defne had a project in her computer programming class that she was hoping that Serkan could help her with, she knocked on his office door after dinner. He had been trying to catch up for a few hours at night since he had been out of town, "Do you have a minute?"

Serkan looked up, "Always Def, what do you need?"

She came into the office to sit across from him, "We're doing a design project in my programming class and I was hoping that you could help me."

"I'm not a programmer Def, but I'll do what I can."

"No, it isn't that. I want to design a building, you see I've been following your work for a few years, and I think that I have a design, but I don't know if it would work or not, so I was hoping that you could take a look at it?" she asked nervously. Defne thought she might throw up, she was asking her brother, a world-famous architect, to look at scribbles from a fifteen-year-old.

It was a surprise to hear that she had been following his work, but he didn't dwell on it, instead Serkan motioned her over to the table in the corner so that Defne could show him what she had done. Eda walked by to see their heads together over her laptop, she wouldn't disturb them, but she would take a few pictures for Serkan and Defne. The love that the two of them had for each other was growing so strong, she was proud of Serkan for not giving up.

Serkan reached over and got out some drafting paper, pencils, and rulers, "You have the basis of a solid design Def, it's good and I like it, but what we need to do now before you put it back into the computer is draw it out on paper. It's easier to visualize your lines, you have more space."

The two sat and worked until close to midnight when Defne looked at her drawing again, "Oh, this is so much better than what I had before, but it's still mine. Do you think it's cheating because I had you helping me?"
