"Emir, go swim back to the pier!" Serkan yelled.

The boy shook his head and struck off towards the rocks. Serkan knew Emir was a good swimmer, just not as good as he was, he stayed behind his brother to keep him safe. Eda's heart was in her throat, her whole life was in that water. On the back of the boat, she could see a small fire had broken out, water was rushing in and the boat was listing dangerously to the side.

Emergency services were on their way, but Eda didn't think that they would be on time. Serkan and Emir had a better chance of saving her babies. She heard her name yelled as Ayfer came running down the dock, "Emir yelled something about the boat and a kidnapping, I ran after him, I saw the crash and them jumping. Oh Eda." Still gasping for air, Ayfer wrapped her arms around Eda. Bystanders came to watch, slowly filling the places around Eda and Ayfer.

"Look, in the window," Eda was frantic and pointing, running down the pier, she screamed at her husband, "Serkan! SERKAN! THE WINDOW!" Serkan tried to look where she was pointing but the cold of the water was sapping his energy, he could feel Emir fading next to him. The rocks were so close, if he could just get him there. He couldn't see anything yet other than the rocks.

Eda picked up her phone, "Defne, can you open the window? Can you climb outside through the window?"

"What about Mrs. Ozcan? She has a gun, Eda. I don't want to put the girls out there for her to shoot."

"Let me worry about that, you get yourself and the girls out of that cabin and onto the catwalk, Serkan is coming for you." Eda flagged down the nearest officer and showed him her badge. "My daughters are trapped inside our boat, my husband and son are trying to rescue them. The woman who kidnapped them and stole the boat has a gun, she's already killed one person and I will be damned if she tries to hurt my kids and my husband." He nodded at the ferocious woman and watched where she was pointing.

Serenay pushed to a sitting position and shook herself, she should have remembered that to slow the boat you pulled down on the lever, but she had pushed forward and lost control. She tried standing but her legs were too wobbly, she waited a moment and tried again. As Serenay dragged herself to her feet, she noticed the fire behind her, she chuckled at the absurdity of it, a boat in the water burning.

She knew that she had concussed herself in the fall and she was no closer to getting rid of the body, now she was stuck on this burning monstrosity. She was going to have to climb off and use the small boat or try to escape on the rocks. Gingerly, she wove her way to the side to see where she was and that was when she heard the screaming, 'Serkan'. It was all his fault, had he never been born this would never have been a problem. She took aim and fired at the larger of the two swimmers.

The police officer that Eda had warned about Serenay had warned others and they were watching for her. Their shock when she began to shoot at the swimmers only lasted for a second before they fired back at her, striking her. Once again, she dropped out of sight.

Serkan knew that the water was cold and hoped that Emir wasn't cramping as badly as he was, the two in his side were painful, but not enough to stop him. He pushed Emir the last few feet to the rocks and they began to climb up. Serkan looked back to Eda and gave her a wave, he and Emir were spent but not done yet. "Defne!" he yelled.

Her head popped up out of the window, "Serkan? Has that nutcase stopped shooting?"

"What?" he looked around, "I think so. Can you toss down some clothes from our stateroom? We're freezing." he panted. Defne disappeared from the window to be replaced by Ebru and Kiraz, "Daddy?"

"Hey babies, your brother and I are here to get you home." Serkan bent over to try and catch his breath, the stitch in his side was really obnoxious. He watched as Emir went to the boat and caught the clothes that Defne tossed down.
