When we arrived to the castle, I couldn't look away, it was beautiful. We were all in the hallway waiting for Mrs. McGonagall, she had given a speech about the house.
"So it's true then. The Potter twins have come to Hogwarts." The boy who bumped into me in the train was now I front of us. "Im Malfoy, Draco Malfoy." He said looking at Harry and I. Ron snickered, "Think my names funny do you? No need to ask yours. Red hair and a hand me down robe? You must be a Weasley." He spoke like Rons family name was poison before turning to us. "You don't wanna make friends with the wrong sort, some families are better than others" Shooting Ron a look, "I can help you there" He said holding his hand out.
"I think we can figure out who the wrong sort is ourselves." Harry spoke glaring at him. Mrs. McGonagall came back shooting Malfoy a look. How embarrassing, who does he think he is? We walked into the hall, I wasn't listening until I heard McGonagall yell, "Harry Potter!" As Harry walked up, my worries took over me, what if we don't get into the same house? We've always stuck together, what if that changed? I heard the hat yell out Gryffindor. Then my name was called.
Walking up I felt like my heart was about to jump out of my chest. I sat in the chair before the hat was placed on my head. "You're incredibly smart, but incredibly generous. You would do amazing things in Gryffindor but would do even better in Slytherin." I felt my heart drop.
"However I can see where I need to put you in better be.... GRYFFINDOR!" I smiled, hopping off the chair. The whole Gryffindor table clapped louder now that they had both the Potters with them. I smiled as I sat down next to Harry. "I was so scared we would be separated." I whispered towards him. "Me too, but look at us! All in the same table" He smiled before giving me a small hug.
After the feast we followed our perfect, Percy, Rons older brother. As we walked admiring the castle Percy was yelling at us to keep up. He was very annoying.
Once we were lead inside the Gryffindor tower everyone looked around admiring it. "Welcome to the Gryffindor Common Room. Boy's dormitories, upstairs and down to your left. Girls, the same on your right. You'll find that your belongings have already been brought up." Percy explained.
I linked arms with Hermione, "Come on Hermione!" I giggled, we walked into the room and found our stuff, our beds were besides each other. We got ready for bed, everyone else fell asleep, but I couldn't. I sat down on the window seal, petting Ivy.
I can tell Harry and I will love it here at Hogwarts.
