"And after the battle, they had all the breakfast burritos they could ever want. The end," Marco said, moving the finger puppet back and forth.

Mariposa babbled as she sat on Meatora's back.

"Okay, that's enough goofing off. Time for bed. Good night, Meteora." Marco picked Mariposa up, putting her in her own crib. "It's really great you two get along so well. Good night, Mariposa. Sweet dreams." Marco let Mariposa hold the finger puppet as he stepped away.

"Marco," Hekapoo called out as she walked through the portal.

"Hekapoo? What the heck are you doing here?"

"I need to talk to you about the-"

Marco hissed her to be quiet, an annoyed look on his face. "Not in front of the babies. Mariposa and Meteora just fell asleep," Marco scolded as he pushed Hekapoo out of the room.

"What are you, Eclipsa's babysitter?"

"I am Eclipsa's favourite babysitter, and I think it's nice that she and Globgor are having a night out after 300 years."

"Just listen, all right? I shouldn't even be telling you this, but I have a feeling some bad stuff is about to go down on Mewni."

"Well, that sounds ominous."

"Okay, I know you like to 'get involved' because you 'care', but trust me. Stay. On. Earth." Hekapoo opened a new portal as Marco grabbed her.

"Wait, Hekapoo. I may not be from Mewni, but it's Solar's home, and I'm still a night. If something is about to happen, I can't stand by."

"If you don't want another visit with Bash, you will stay out of this." Hekapoo jumped through the portal. "Stay on Earth."

Marco paused before he turned around, walking into his room where Tom and Solar were tangled into a cuddle on the bed. "Solar! Hekapoo just gave me this really cryptic warning about bad things happening on Mewni. Have you heard anything about that?"

"No," Solar responded, lifting his head. "But we should probably ask Eclipse the- Oh, I promised I'd send her a picture of the babies together."

Solar glanced at the door before glancing at Tom. Marco let out a soft sigh. "I'm taking the picture, aren't I?"

Solar grinned as Marco picked up Tom's compact mirror. "Thank you."

Marco gently pried open the door before Marco suppressed his urge to scream. Hekapoo had left her portal open. Marco hesitated as he walked towards the crib. "Fuck."

Kicking open the door to his room, Marco grabbed Tom and Solar, dragging them back to the baby's room. "Meteora and Mariposa are gone. Hekapoo left a portal open."

He stopped before the fiery portal as Solar and Tom stared at it. "Shit."

"How long has it been?" Solar glanced at Marco as he began stressing.

"I don't know. Five minutes? Ten?"

"They could be old grandmas by now," Tom stressed as they jumped through the portal.

"Woah, what happened here," Tom questioned as he looked out at the bone graveyard.

"Who knows? It's been centuries since we were last here."

"I always hate how much it changes," Solar grumbled as they glanced at Tom who had forgotten how different the two looked here. "You good?"

"Yep. Totally good. Where do we start looking?"

Marco chuckled as he clapped his hands around a glowing butterfly thing, spreading it on a skull. The ground rumbled as Brunzetta appeared. "Brunzetta, long time no see. My sister is missing. Do you know anyone who can help me find her?"
