"Luna! Mr. Smoker wants to see you." I heard my crew mate yell.

"Okay! Thanks."

I walked down the hall to Smoker's office. Everyone kept greeting me and smiling.

Once I reached the office, I softly knocked on the door. After I heard a "Come in" I twisted the door knob and pushed it slightly, letting myself in.

"Goodmorning sir. Do I have another mission?" I spoke softly.

"Goodmorning Luna. Take a seat first. We need to discuss something." He stretched his arm, gesturing me to sit on the sofa located infront of him.

Smoker was always very kind with me, unlike with the others. I dont know if that's because of my strong powers or other marine related reasons.

"Okay. Is it about a pirate crew?"

I sat down and placed my hands on my knees. There was a table between Smoker and I. A cloud of smoke filled the atmosphere too, but I wasn't bothered by it. I got used to Smoker inhaling and exhaling nicotine by the past two years.

"Well, you can say so. We located the Straw Hat pirates' destination and it seems as if they're headed to the Grand Line. We were obliged to go and capture them. But, in order to not creating any distractions, they want us to go alone."

Smoker exhaled the nictone and crushed the cigarettes. He knelt forward and clasped his hands together, waiting for my responce.

"I dont see a problem with that, sir." A slight blush appeared across my cheeks as I looked down to hide it.

"Great then. Start packing, were leaving tomorrow morning."

(One Month Later)
I felt that this mission brought us closer. More close than a commander and a second-in-command should be. I even started to think that he may perhaps share the same feelings as me.

I always caught him staring at me with his cold grey eyes and he always noticed my blushings. He even once said "Stop blushing a lot, you look too cute." I dont know if that was just a friendly compliment. With his merciless heart, he never once yelled at me or glared at me angrily. It always warmed my heart seeing him being so gentle and caring with me. The way his fingers wraped themselves around my black and blue hair locks. The softness in his eyes whenever he stared into my icy blue orbs. It made me melt.

Even up to yesterday, where we took our love to another level. After sharing the most passionate kiss, I lost all my innocence and shyness. He made my heart flutter and adrenaline race through my body. We both realized how much our love for eachother changed us. I became more confident and he more caring.

As marines, we still manage to fall deeply in love with someone, who changes us to the better. For me, this person is and will always be Smoker.
