The sky was baby blue, aligned with cotton candy like clouds. Birds were chirping in the air, their voices sounding like music. The weather had a slight breeze to it every now and then, but everything was very quite and steady. Peaceful yet animated with nature.

I admired this rare atmosphere that crept up often only during Summer. It was the most relaxing feeling you could ever imagine. It's like all of your problems mysteriously vanished every time you set foot outside!

It was finally time for us to meet. The long awaited day that we will both reunite, even if for a short period of time; due to the nature of his work. A couple of days felt like years, whenever spent with him. The distance seemed insignificant. Something we rapidly forgot about whenever we were together. It didn't matter how much time had passed, the fact that we were able to hold each other once more, was more a mere blessing.

The fear of losing him was constantly lingering at the back of my mind. It was inevitable. With a job like this, there was a high risk of him just...........never coming back someday. Or perhaps meeting another gorgeous female that will swipe him away from me. But I do trust me him, that is for sure. I just don't just the dangerous souls with the angelic faces and devilish intentions. That is what pushes me to embrace every second I get to spend with him. To make the absolute most of it. 

I was getting close to our designated location, and that's when my adrenaline decided to kick in. It must have been months since I last saw his handsome face. I wonder if he's changed that much. After all, puberty does wonders. My heart beat began changing its rhythm from slow and steady to rapid and uneven.

From a distance, I could spot the very familiar pink strands of hair that reminded me of fresh garden flowers (he hates it when I tell him that). He had his back facing me, so I jogged until I engulfed him into a big tight hug, taking him by surprise.

He jumped slightly and let out a squeal (which I found cute), turning around to see who it was. I had a wide, cheeky grin plastered on my face and he let out an irritated sigh as a joke.

Quickly turning his head, I gave him a long kiss, by which he returned. I missed him so much it was practically driving me insane.

I pulled away, and saw him blush in the most adorable way possible. Letting out a giggle, I pecked him once more.

"I missed you, Coby."

"I've missed you too Riley. I can't believe it's been so long!"

"I agree, but more importantly, you look so fucking hot I'm practically dying here. What the hell happened there?" I spoke as I checked him out, almost drooling at the god like being in front of me.

"Haha....a-a lot of t-training I guess." He rubbed the back of his neck, gazing at the floor. The familiar pink shade once again creeping up on his cheeks.

Smiling at him, I grabbed his hand and started walking along the park. We both stayed silent for a few minutes, admiring this moment; taking it in and just enjoying each other's company. Before meeting him, I felt like I had so much to tell him, but right now, all of those stories felt unimportant. I couldn't care less about anything besides us, walking hand in hand, in the peaceful and serene park.

"Do you want to go back to my place? We can just hang around the house and maybe have some fun too." I winked at him, and he chuckled and nodded in response.

I smiled and tightened my grip on his hand, as we changed directions to head to my house.
