Luffy (Part 2)

It has been a year already since Luffy and I began dating. Many things have changed since then. I started getting hate from most people, lost many friends, but it didn't matter to me because I had Luffy; and that was all I ever needed.

Nami started dating Sanji as well, which was a shock to me, since she was against dating just a few months ago. I was grateful to have Nami in my life, as she supported me through thick and thin and was the only one who didn't leave my side.

Today marks my one year anniversary with Luffy, he told me previously that he had a surprise for me. I am thrilled to find out, yet nervous too. If one thing anyone should know about me is that I. Hate. Surprises. But seeing that its from Luffy, it shouldn't be that intolerant and bad.

Luffy didn't come to school today, which was a bit abnormal, considering he cares a lot about his education. I decided to just drop the subject and ask him later about it, contemplating that this is the last period and no signs of him were found.

As soon as the bell rang, I rushed out of the class and got into my car, heading towards my house. I wanted to look well dressed and prepared for what Luffy's surprise would be.

After about twenty minutes, I parked my ferrari in our garage and unlocked the front door.

"Hi mom, I'm back." I called out.

"Welcome back sweety. How was your day?" My mother greeted back, giving me a warm smile in return.

"It's been good. I have to go get ready mom; see you later." I kissed my mom's cheek then jogged up the stairs and into my room.

"Okay, take care honey." I heard my mom's voice echoing from downstairs.

I shut the door and started picking my outfit.

"Hmmm.....something nice yet simple. Not too plain and not too seductive." I thought to myself as I tapped my index finger on my chin.

After minutes of searching I finally found the perfect outfit. A tight black tank top that reached just above my belly button, and a sparkly black skirt that was a bit above my knees. Perfect!

I hopped into the shower, getting washed in order to smell good. I'm supposed to head over to Luffy's house in thirty minutes.

Wrapping a towel around my body, I stepped out of the shower and started getting ready; beginning with my hair and make up first.

When twenty minutes have passed, I was finally done and out the door. Since Luffy's house is pretty close to mine, it took me ten minutes only.

Parking in front of his house, I didn't spot his parents' cars. They must be out? I turned off the ignition, locked the car and started walking to his doorstep. Fixing my hair and brushing my skirt, I knocked softly on the door. A few seconds later, Luffy opened the door, a wide grin plastered on his face.

"Shishishishi! Hi Bella, come in." Luffy continued grinning as he gestured for me to enter.

"Hi Luffy, what's with that look?" I questioned raising an eyebrow.

"Oh nothing; you'll find out eventually." His voice held excitement and a mischievous smirk was shown on his features, which caused me great suspicious.

I gave him a perplexed look and nodded.

"Hey bella." Luffy called.

"Yea, what's up Lu?" I asked.

"Happy anniversary babe." Luffy spoke gently, engulfing me in a tight, warm hug.

We stayed like that for a few minutes, smiling and feeling each other's warmth. I felt safe in his arms.
