CHAPTER 2: The Sleepover of a Lifetime..

NOTE: This one is a bit cheesy- Honestly, i prefer chapter 1 a lot better but eh you work with what you got.

They arrived at Marcy's bedroom in the castle. "Wow, mars! You got a neat bedroom!" Anne would say as she was looking around all around Marcy's room. "Thanks! This sleepover is gonna be AWESOME!!" [ Oh my gosh it's been so long since we've had one of these! I'm going to make it better than all of our other sleepovers combined! ] "I bet it will! It might be a bit hard without Sasha, but we can do it! Who needs the sleepover queen when we have the most amazing duo, Marcanne!"

 [ Marcanne? oh my frog is that like a ship name?? i mean, why would it be a ship name? It's just a duo name, calm down. ] "Marcanne?" she'd ask. "Yeah! Marcanne! It's a mix of your name with mine! Team Marcanne for life!" Marcy would chuckle at this. "You're really cute sometimes, Anne" she'd say sort of quietly "Sorry, what did you say?" Marcy panicked. [ oh shoot!! ] "Uhm, i-i just said Marcanne was a great name!" she'd sweat and nervously chuckle. "Oh. Glad you think so! Anyways, let's get this party started!!" [ Phew. She didn't question it. ]

"Yeah! Let's party hard!!" Anne would grab her phone and start playing her playlist. "Can't have a good sleepover without a dance party!" Big smiles grew on both of their faces as they started to dance in a very dorky way. They were both dancing, laughing, smiling and having a good time when Marcy's eyes locked onto Anne's. Something about her eyes were just so... dreamy? It's like she could swim in them. [ Her eyes are more beautiful than before.. I didn't think that was possible.. ] Marcy suddenly slowed down her dancing, eventually standing there looking at Anne. [ Why do i feel this way right now.. I've never felt like this before.. Do I..? No no I couldn't possibly.. ]

Marcy was fighting the urge to go up to her and just straight up kiss her. It felt hard to resist at least just holding her face and making sure she was close. The thought of it was so.. warm. Like a big cozy blanket just got put on top of her. Anne noticed Marcy wasn't laughing anymore, She looked over to Marcy just standing there. Her eyes were glued to Anne's in a sweet, even cute way. "Uh, Marce? You okay? You're zoning out again." [ Oh shit!! Not again!! ] "Oh yeah, I'm fine! Just uh.. thinking of my crush." [ Hopefully Anne doesn't think anything weird about me.. ] "You were thinking about your crush so you decided to look directly at me?" [ Oh frog. ] "Welll, I uh I zone out so randomly.. it was just a weird chance i accidently was staring at you! That's all." Marcy would quickly look at the floor, while sweating. "Alright. I'm here if you need me." [ Anne is just so dang caring.. She's just so perfect. I just wanna hold her adorable face. ] Marcy's "platonic feelings" were growing fast. Uncomfortably fast. She finally realized that.. [ Oh shit.. I'm in love with Anne. This is awkward oh my frog... ]

"So uh.. anyways. Looks like the dance party was a bit of an awkward one. You feel like doing anything else?" [ Well if I had to be honest, I wanna cuddle but I can't say that so.. ] "Oh uh, I don't mind anything. You can pick." "Hmmm, i got a few ideas."

After a few wild rounds of games such as a pillow fight, tag your it, Simon says, musical statues, etc. They were playing for hours.  About almost 2 hours had past right before there eyes, but it feels like 15 minutes to them. They collapsed on the floor, giggling and laughing. "That was so fun! I forgot about those games honestly." Marcy said over her laughter. "I know right! Anyways, is there anything you wanna do now?" 

"I'm a bit tired now.. Can I take a nap?" Marcy asked sleepily. "Oh, yeah sure. Go ahead. I'll see you when you wake up. I think I'm going to take a nap too." Anne would yawn and close her eyes. "Goodnight, mar-mar.." "Goodnight, anna banana.." Shortly after, Anne had already fell asleep but Marcy didn't. She'd open her eyes to see Anne calmly sleeping [ She is actually kinda cute.. ] She'd rub her hand against her cheek very gently, trying to not startle her. [ She is soft.. I'm definitely stealing whatever skincare she uses. ] She kept rubbing her cheeks gently with the back of her hand, very slowly. [ She is really cute. I just wish I wasn't a coward and could tell her how I feel about her. ] She'd move her hand up to her hair, playing with it softly. A big smile grew across her face as she felt how soft her hair was. [ Wow, I've never paid attention to how soft her hair is! It's really nice.. ] She'd shift her hand down to her chin to cup Anne's face and kissed her lightly on the forehead. "Goodnight, cutie." she'd whisper very quietly. She'd return cupping her face for a while, slightly rubbing Anne's cheeks with her thumbs. [ I wish I could do this all the time. You know, when you are actually awake. Maybe one day you'll know how I'll feel about you truly, then we can do this all the time. But for now, this will do. ] She let go of her face to hug Anne tightly. What meant to be a quick hug before she fell asleep, ended up Marcy accidently cuddling her. 

Anne would wake up after about 30 minutes. She noticed Marcy hugging her tightly, snuggling her face into her chest. [ Woah.. Marcy is.. cuddling me?? This is something I never thought I'd see. I'm glad she is though, this is quite comfortable.. ] Anne hugged her back, holding her very close making sure she wouldn't let go. She was rubbing Marcy's back just slightly, in a comforting way. [ Damn.. this is really nice. Please don't let go.. ]

Marcy would wake up shortly after from the slight movement, to see her close than ever to Anne. [ Oh shit! i fell asleep while hugging her! Wait.. she is.. hugging me aswell? While rubbing my back? Does she not mind  me cuddling her? ] "Hey Annie.." Marcy would say in a sleepy voice. "Oh! Hey mars. I didn't realize you were awake. Was your sleep good? Did you have any nightmares? Were you sleeping comfortably?" Marcy looked at Anne and laugh "Too many questions at once, anna."

"Oh yeah, sorry. I just.. care about you. a lot.. that's all." Marcy couldn't help but blush. "It's okay. I care about you too. Anyways, to answer your questions. Yes I slept good, no I didn't have any nightmares, and yes i was sleeping comfortably. I mean, I was snuggling you so of course I was comfortable." Anne blushed and chuckled. "You like cuddling me huh?" She started to fix up Marcy's hair. "Yeah if I'm being honest.. then again I like cuddles from anyone so.."

She'd giggle and then ask "Anyways, do you just want to fall asleep? It's fine, I bet we could hang out sometime tomorrow morning." Marcy thought about it for a moment. "Eh, i rather stay up with you." She'd respond with, smiling. "Are you sure? I can wait." Marcy chuckled and hugged Anne tighter. "Yes I'm sure. Come here, you dork." [ Woah.. cuddling Marcy has never felt this nice before.. ] "Alright, if you insist." she'd hug her and bring her close. The warmth was so comforting and nice.. Like a big blanket of coziness. Anne grips tights onto Marcy, in a way she could no longer move. It was like a glue. She didn't mind not being able to move though, being so close to Anne finally was so nice. She just wanted to savor the moment forever. There is a big silence before Anne interrupted. 

"You know Mar-mar, I've never loved someone like i love you. I love you a lot, my love for you is a bit hard to handle honestly." [ what?? she.. loves me? in what way?? Well, probably in a platonic way. Don't get your hopes up. ] "Awww! You're so sweet, Anne. I feel the same way about you." They'd both blush as they smiled at eachother.

"Now come on! We have a whole lot of sleepover games to play!" Marcy would get up excitedly, going to her shelfs to find board games and card games they could play.

Anne would chuckle as she got up, following Marcy. "Oh you're on, Wu!"

NOTE: Sorry this chapter is a bit fast + kinda all over the place. I'm not that great at writing romance stories- I'm hoping by writing this fanfic, i'll get better at it!
