Marcy woke up from her nap very drowsy, not wanting to get up. She'd pull her blanket over her, trying to block out the sunlight but the room only got brighter. She'd pull the blanket off of her face when realizing the plan to block the sunlight out of her eyes didn't work. She stared her ceiling peacefully, trying to wake up. The sun beamed through her window while the birds chirped in the background. She could feel the nice warmth from the sun beaming down on her bed, acting like a whole new blanket. Marcy got up slowly, rubbing her eyes and finally got up.

[ This morning isn't actually too bad, I haven't thought of Anne once so far! ... Oh shoot I just thought about her.. Great job, Marcy.] She ignored her thoughts as best as she could, but it really was all she could think about. Lots of thoughts were going through her head at once. The rejection scenarios, her strange new feelings for Anne and wondering if Sasha was doing okay was all playing in her head at once. [ Ugh.. Stop thinking about them all at once! Looks like I need a distraction. ] She walked up to the mirror to see she really needed an outfit change..

"Yikes." She'd take notice of Anne's jacket that she had been wearing. [ This only reminds me of her more.. Ugh. I need a different outfit. ] Marcy quickly ran to get more clothes. She'd put on a nice silky t-shirt with some nice sweatpants and you know she had to add her iconic ranger boots. "Eh, a bit strange but who is gonna be judging me at this hour?" Her attention was drawn to the jacket she took off, thinking about all the thoughts at once again. She quickly grabbed it, looking for somewhere to hide it. Her eyes were looking at every spot in her room before she noticed a empty random box in the corner of her room. She quickly walked over, putting it in the box. "I'm sorry Anne, but this is for the better." She closed the box and put it in the very far corner.

She sighed as she walked out of her room, feeling that this plan was a bad idea.
[ No, no.. it's for the better. I just.. i can't let her know because- ] Her thoughts got cut off as she stepped a foot outside, seeing the beautiful blue sky. It almost seemed bright than ever before, drawing Marcy's eyes in. She couldn't look away like how she couldn't look away from Anne whenever she was near. [ It's almost as beautiful as- No! Stop thinking about her.. I already told myself I needed to stop. I should do just that.. ] She put her hands in her pockets and walked away, trying to distract herself by little things passing by her. [ It's okay. Someday I will stop falling in love with you. Maybe she should just break my heart so I have an excuse to stop my huge crush on you.. ]

Marcy couldn't just stop thinking about her though, heavens knows she's tried so much. She walked and walked wondering maybe she'd find someone who she liked just as much as Anne, and where the person liked Marcy as much as her. [ Maybe that'll work.. Not sure if i can find anyone like her though. Until then, I guess I'll be thinking of her endlessly. I'll try my best to ignore it though.. ]

Anne was playing with Sprig outside, playing multiple different games while laughing. Sprig laughed back until he saw waterdrop shaped droplets on Anne's forehead and legs. "Uh, Anne? Is it just me or is water emerging from your skin? Did the swamp do this to you?! CURSE YOU, WATER! HOW DARE YOU AFFECT MY BEST FRIEND IN THIS WAY! CURSE YOU!" He'd slam his fists into the ground, dramatically screaming at something that couldn't even hear him back. Anne laughed and put her hand on his shoulder, "Calm down, Sprig. It's just sweat." He'd turn around back to Anne, wiping off some of her sweat with his hands. "Uh dude, I wouldn't smell your hand if I were you." "Hah right, like it's going to smell ba-" He'd cut himself off when he smelled it. "EW! Is this is what sweat is like for human creatures like you? Gross." Anne would laugh, calming down from all the active games they were playing together. Sprig could only smile back, chucking along with her.
