The Challenges begin

I was still in my seat, after William had given all the examinees a broom for them to use, before he stood in front still, explaining how the exam would work to all the examinees

William: "In just a few moments, we'll begin the first of a series of tests. The ten magic knight captains will be serving as your judges, and when the exam is complete, we'll choose the individuals we want on our squads. IF you're chosen, you're in, if multiple squads choose you, you will decide which you wish to join, however, if no squad chooses you, that means you have been deemed unqualified to join the magic knights and you are to leave immediately."

Typhon: I scanned through the examinees 'So far no one of any relevance, pretty average Mana levels." I crossed my leg over the other and rested my elbow on the arm of the throne, laying my head in my palm

William: "And now, for your first test. You will use the brooms you have been given to fly." The examinees talk among themselves "A mage who is in control of his, or her, magic power can do it on instinct alone." One of his subordinates float behind him "It is our most basic way to get from one place to another. If you can't fly on a broom, you are not worth our time. Enough talk." He reaches his hand out "Now, begin!" The examinees began flying, or at least trying to

Cerberus: he put the broom between his legs "Like...so?" He was suddenly lifted into the air extremely fast he held onto the broom for dear life and screamed in fear while bawling "I'm scared!"

Caesar: he smirked and dropped the broom on the floor, before stepping on it as it rises and he flies up with it "Heh, the captains should have their eyes on me now." He looks down to see everyone watching Yuno

Typhon: I look up into the air, seeing a boy crying in fear on his broom 'Hm? What a strange young man...is he crying?" I look around at all the examinees 'Then again, the true decisions come in when they duels start.' I thought to myself

Fuegoleon: his attention is caught by a girl who's broom didn't rise at all "What's going on there? Even if she doesn't have any significant talent, she should still be able to float." He said while pondering

Nozelle: "Hmph." He stood up "If you'll excuse me for a moment." He turned and walked away while the rest watched

Typhon: 'That's...strange, she has no trace of mana at all...' I sigh and close my eyes 'That's awfully unfortunate. I almost feel sorry for her.' I look into the air, seeing a boy with spiky black hair performing tricks on his broom, trying to catch attention

Caesar: he stopped, seeing Typhon's crimson eyes gazing up at him 'Yes! Finally, one of  them noticed me!' He heard a wail and looked up to see Cerberus in the air, hanging upside down on his broom

Fuegoleon: "That one can't even control his broom." He sighed and laid back in his seat. Typhon remained relaxed in his seat, before the challenges went on, from the brooms, to the magic power test, Caesar cut his wall to pieces, while Cerberus just cowered, then the target practice which Caesar aced and Cerberus ran from his target, then was the magic ability test, Caesar couldn't do much in that test and Cerberus had the same outcome, then the magic control test, Caesar summoned a small stream of white mama around his hand while Cerberus couldn't control his and it made a giant plume of mana, making himself scream in fear.
