The Mission

3rd Pov

We once more see the floating castle of Brutan in all its grandeur, in one of the castle courtyards we see the three recruits doing physical training with Alice once more, the three of them struggling to keep up with the intense training

Alice: "What's wrong?! You three look tired!" She chuckled from behind her mask "You gonna give up?!"

Leona/ Caesar/ Cerberus: "Nooo!" The first two say with determined looks on their faces while Cerberus was running tears once more

Alice: she laughs loudly, some of her Mana leaking out, kicking up powerful winds "You know damn well that's what I like to hear you damn brats! Keep going, or get your asses kicked!"

Leona/ Caesar/ Cerberus: "Yes ma'am!" They shouted with determination again while cerberus' reaction was the same all over

Still third Pov

The three recruits were on the floor with relieved smiles on their face as Alice stepped over and stood over them, her arms crossed over her chest as she spoke with a smug tone of voice

Alice: "Nice job. You managed to do all your training with ample time." The three recruits groaned happily "You're now on par with an auxiliary mage!"

Caesar: "What?!" He sat up with a shocked face "We've been doing the training for the weakest members of the squad?!" He put his hands to his face and fell back "Dammit! I thought we were doing training for a damn superhuman!"

Leona: she sat up "It's all worth it...we're only getting stronger." She clenched her fist in front of her "...If we can't do this then how can we ever expect to be something in the squad."

Cerberus: "Please...let me die in peace..." he said with a tired voice while breathing heavily

Alice: "Nuh-uh, no one's dying here." She punched her fist into her palm "Your next goal is to..." the three recruits stared up at her in fear, but she was cut off by a warp gate opening and Napoleon stepping out "Huh? Saved by the cap'n I guess."

Napoleon: "Good afternoon to you as well, Alice." He said coldly as the warp behind him closed "I'm here for the new additions."

Alice: "Huh? The captain needs the little ones?" She laughs "You're in luck kids, the sounds like you got a mission." All three of them jumped up

Leona: "A real mission?! Just for us?!" She smiles "I can't believe it, Captain Typhon thinks we're ready to go on a mission!"

Caesar: he popped in front of her "What is it?! Fighting rogue mages?! Saving the kingdom?!" He smirks and clenched his fist "I can take anything they throw at me!"

Cerberus: he had a sad expression "Wasn't the training enough? Now we have to go risk our lives?" He sighed heavily "I want to go back to bed..." he had an aura of despair around him

Napoleon: "I tried to reason with the captain that you lot are Ill prepared for such responsibility, but you will have a senior mage accompanying you." He opened a warp gate behind him "Now, move. Don't keep the captain waiting."

Caesar: "Don't tell me twice!" He sprints into the warp, disappearing

Leona: "Damn peasant! Have you never heard of ladies first?!" She ran into the warp after him

Cerberus: "Caesar! Don't leave me behind!" He ran into he warp with his arms outstretched

Napoleon: "Farewell to you, Alice." He walks into the warp with his arms crossed behind his back
