Returning to Base

Typhon Pov

I was in my office with Napoleon at my side, the recruits and vice captain had gone on their respective missions and it was coming close to the end of the day, until looked over to Napoleon with a stoic expression

Typhon: "You may retrieve them now, the reinforcements have arrive." I watched Napoleon nod as he opened a warp

Caesar: he and Cerberus fell through with a scream "The hell? Where did we fall into?" He and Cerberus looked up to see Typhon and Napoleon "Huh?! Captain!" He stood upright

Cerberus: he was trembling "I hate the portal thing...."

Napoleon: "Until you're worth of my respect, then you may be allowed to enter the warp at your will" he said coldly, before Armaros and Leona walked through the portal

Armaros/ Leona: they both folded their arms behind their backs "Captain. We have returned with the artefact." They said in unison

Typhon: "Good." I watched Armaros walk over with the small chest and place it on my desk "I am pleased. Do you have any comments on their work, Armaros?" I looked into Armaros' eyes

Armaros: "They took charge and held strong when faced with foes, I believe if I were not there, they would have still managed to come out victorious, granted with slightly more of an effort." He bowed his head

Napoleon: he narrowed his eye "That wasn't the captains question. He wants to know how they assessed the situation they were put in, you were told to get rid of threats and allow them to formulate a sort of plan, not let them do as they pleased!" He was silenced by Typhon raising his hand "My apologies captain."

Typhon: i looked back to them, watching the recruits flinch "Good job." I saw them smile proudly "But Napoleon's words do hold truth, you were lucky to have been strong enough to defeat your enemies with strength alone, but future battles and encounters will require you to use your intellect." I watched them look disheartened before I narrowed my eyes "Am I clear?"

Leona/ Caesar/ Cerberus: "Yes sir." All three of them had determined looks on their faces

Typhon: "I will praise you for retrieving the item. I will return it to the capital personally, I'm sure the wizard king will be have nothing but good to say about your work." I look to Armaros "And if you will, please head to the capital to give your report."

Armaros: he bows his head "Of course, Captain." He looks to Napoleon "If sir Napoleon would grant it, I would like to go at once." He said with a serious face

Napoleon: "Yes, go at once." He stretched out his hand and opened a warp

Typhon: "But." They stopped "Before you all go, I'd like to let you know that your efforts has earned our squad another star onto its number." They all collectively gasped "Yes. It turned out that organisation was involved in more than just the stolen artefact, you did something for the whole kingdom today, stand proud." I watched them all smile

Armaros: he smiled at the recruits "I hope to embark on a mission with you once more, my friends." He bowed to Typhon, before turning and entering the warp

Typhon: I look to the recruits "You had a successful mission and earned a star, you have begun to prove that I did not make a mistake with recruiting you. For now, I want you all to continue your training and there will be more missions to come."

Caesar: "Yes captain, sir!" He bows

Cerberus: "Th-thank you captain..." he says sheepishly
